Ensuring that every student reaches their full potential is at the heart of everything we do at Cronton Sixth Form. Our results and high grades are testament to the outstanding work of our students and staff. This summer the college celebrated a 100% A Level pass rate with 69% Top Grades A*-B and 92% High Grades A*-C. We also celebrated a 100% BTEC Pass Rate with 88% BTEC High Grades and 48% BTEC

Basketball Tournament champions in Devon! π
Last week, Cronton played teams from across Devon in a thrilling one-day basketball competition held at South Dartmoor Community College. Cronton emerged victorious in all their games, bringing the inaugural 'West Coast Classic' basketball trophy home! π

Amazing photos from last week's Maritime Heritage / Maritime Futures 'Float Your Boat' event at the Maritime Museum on the Albert Dock in Liverpool! π
For the past six weeks, our Level 3 Business students have been hard at work on a marketing project focused on the maritime sector.
Last week, their efforts culminated in our finalists presenting their campaigns to a panel of industry leaders from Peel Ports, Mersey Maritime, Visit Liverpool, and more.

The room was packed, and the judges were blown away by the confidence and professionalism of our students. Special shoutout to Leah Edwards-Ollier for a polished campaign that the judges mistook it for professional work!
Although Steve Rotherham couldn't attend, the students had a special lunch with the Lord Mayor of Liverpool on board 'The Danny,' practising their networking skills and making valuable connections. Joel left such an impression that the Lord Mayor offered to recommend him to the University of Liverpool!

πΆ It was great to see our talented Vocational Music students perform their exceptional Final Major Projects at the incredible Liverpool Philharmonic!
From recreating iconic hit songs across the decades to bringing their favourite film soundtracks to life, each group showcased their unique focus and incredible talent.
We were also treated to original material from some of our amazing acts, while others performed songs that hold special meaning to them. It was a night of unforgettable music and outstanding performances! π€πΈπΉ

This week, our Level 3 Animal Management students have been busy with hands-on learning for their Wildlife and Conservation module. They completed wildlife surveys, including pond dipping and quadrant surveys, to explore and understand local ecosystems. π¦πͺ²
They also had the privilege of touring a Wildlife Hospital, where they learned about the incredible work of rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife.
We were thrilled to receive the "Community Organisation of the Year" Flame of Hope Award in recognition of our amazing support for Cancer Research UK!
Over the past nine years, we raised an outstanding amount of over Β£30,000 for Cancer Research through our Race for Life fundraisers.

Incredible News! π Our Year 1 Professional Dance Programme students took centre stage at the LEAP Festival Schools Platform last Monday, headlining with their mesmerizing piece "Disciple." πΊπ Their Brazilian-contemporary fusion dance left the audience spellbound!
Course Leader Karl Newsam praised the opportunity for students to showcase their passion to a sold-out crowd.

This summer we have celebrated exceptional A Level results with a 100% pass rate, 86% A*-C grades and 61% A*-B grades.
We also achieved 100% vocational pass rate with 89% high grades on our BTEC courses. These results are significantly above national averages, meaning the college provides some of the best education in the country.
