We met with members of Mencap Liverpool & Sefton yesterday to talk about the I need Easy Read election pledge!

The campaign would like as many candidates as possible to sign their pledge to support Easy Read in the UK.

The consultation is a great example of how patients have the power to speak up about and improve healthcare services 💪🏽

Are photos or drawings best for pictures? 🤔 BOTH work well! We like using our own drawings that we co-designed with people with learning disabilities, and photos are good for showing real-life places, people and objects 📸

Easy Read information can help patients understand different treatments, their options for care and how to prepare for appointments ❤️🩺

A good resource will convey key information clearly with a clean layout. Each page should present:
