In the past five years Bonny Doon has shifted from being a Detroit band to an outfit spread between California and Michigan, and now Michigan and New York. Despite the new challenge of distance, members Bill Lennox (guitar and vocals), Bobby Colombo (guitar and vocals), and Jake Kmiecik (drums) leaned on their friendship to sustain the collaboration, which has blossomed more than ever on their third album.

On their long-awaited third album, we get a glimpse into the pure joy of Bonny Doon. The album serves as less of one conceptual story, and each song as their own individual offerings of putting words to the ordinary experience of being alive. The band is at their most dynamic and the songwriting deftly explores new terrain. ‘Let There Be Music’ is brimming with small truths - both profound and mundane, comforting and difficult - and we are invited to revel in them all.

Gathering inspiration from 60s and 70s soul greats across the Atlantic to modern R&B and jazz, MT Jones evokes a sound that is both contemporary and timeless. His crooning vocals transport you straight back to a smoke-filled speakeasy, while somehow feeling fresh and innovative.

His debut single, ‘I Won't Ever Say Goodbye’ is a soulful, heart-on-sleeve ballad that marks the start of big things for MT Jones.

Following major live dates supporting the likes of The Mary Wallopers, Spector and The Lathums; District is excited to announce the renowned Scottish Celtic folk band will be gracing our stage as part of a major headline UK tour this autumn.

Hailing from the windswept Highlands of Scotland in Falkirk, five-piece Brògeal came together in high school over their love of Scottish and Irish folk music and punk and garage rock. Adding banjo and mandolin to electric guitars to the mix the band soon found their own unique voice has seen them emerge as one of the best live bands in the UK and one of the biggest breakout groups in the last 12 months.

Brògeal will soon be hitting the road across Ireland and appearing at festivals across the UK including The Great Escape, Black Deer and TRNSMT, before headlining a brand-new tour in September.
