Just in! An amazing Regency period Parcel-Gilt and Ebonised Centre Table with a specimen marble and micro-mosaic top.

The wonderful top is build up out of a plethora of different marbles and stones all mozaiqüed together and banded by a segmented border made of 44 different marble specimens. The top includes samples of Lapis lazuli, red and green porphyry, several types of onyx, jasper, breccia and many stones. In the centre of the top sits a micro-mosaic panel depicting in detail the Ruins of the Roman forum encircled by a malachite and slate band.

The top rests on a wonderful anthemion decorated frieze supported by a fluted column on a tripartite greek key decorated base terminating on scroll feet.

English ca. 1820

The table still retains its original decoration.

This wonderful example of great 18th century design has survived in the most spectacular condition. Having a well drawn baluster column under the so-called “Bird Cage” terminating into three sweeping legs.
The stunning and still perfectly flat top is big enough to potentially function as a small supper or breakfast table. This table has been loved over the years and is exactly what great patina is all about.

A George III tripod table of wonderful proportions and great untouched colour.

The crisply carved spiral fluted stem ending in a tri-foot with acanthus carved knees terminating on ball and claw feet.
The top is mounted on a birdcage with lovely turned columns.

Available to Purchase! A rare kneehole desk profusely inlaid with the highest quality arabesque seaweed marquetry in wonderful untouched condition. Made in England ca 1690 and attributed to Gerrit Jensen (1635-1715)

Noteworthy (shown in the last image) is a small piece of paper showing a calculation that could well be the invoice for this particular desk.

AN UNUSUALLY LARGE REGENCY PERIOD MAHOGANY WINDOW SEAT
English, ca. 1830

In the manner of Charles Heathcote Tatham.

The seat framed and panelled over a reeded frieze and supported by reeded legs headed by carved paterae.

This window seat or bench is remarkable due to its size, at nearly five and a half feet long. It has also survived in a remarkable state of preservation, retaining a gloriously untouched colour and patina. For any further information please send a dm or contact us via the website.

A FINE PAIR OF GEORGE III BURR YEW-WOOD AND MAHOGANY D-SHAPED SIDE TABLES
English, ca. 1790

The semi-elliptical tops veneered in well figured mahogany and banded in burr yew wood and Goncalo Alvez. The frieze similarly veneered with densely figured burr yew and Goncalo Alvez. This exceptional pair of tables dating from the last quarter of the eighteenth century closely follow the designs of Thomas Sheraton. They are particularly unusual due to their size and the use of burr yew wood panels through out. The colour of the timber is outstanding and they are particularly unusual being a pair.

A Fine pair of George III period bed side Cabinets. Surely a must for every bedroom, these lovely cupboards have retained a fantastic warm rich honey like colour and a great size! English ca 1790.

For Sale, A superb William IV / late Regency Burr Elm and Oak cross-banded card table. It's very unusual to find a table of this model to be executed in burr Elm and This wonderful example has survived in untouched condition. It has mellowed down to a beautiful golden colour. This rare piece will put a smile on your face every time you look at it and will be a wonderful addition for any room.
