I’m sure you’ve already heard that now’s the time to be on TikTok. We’ve just started our TikTok journey and been having lots of fun creating content! We’re always trying to stay on top of trends and find engaging content ideas while educating viewers on insect protein - it’s not always easy, but we’re up for it!

🎵 Follow the audio trends - this will help with the algorithm
🏆 Don’t be afraid to post “scrappy” content - the less curated, the better!
🫶 Avoid just talking about your products, instead post engaging, entertaining, relatable or education content

We finally received the packaging proofs for our puffs last week! 🔥

It was so exciting to see these come to life and we're even more excited for you all to see the final product in the flesh in January!

It took a lot of hard work to get here but we're so happy with the final result and can now look back at some of the fun challenges along the way

✍️ Reworking the messaging hierarchy time after time to fit on a 25g pack
🎨 Questioning if we've become colour blind after looking at so many variations of greens
🔎 Double checking all the copy about 1000 times before sending to print
📸 Trying to take high res photos of our puffs up close in the office
👩‍💻 Researching recycling logo and barcode specifications in the UK

With sustainability at the core of our brand, we strive to create a long lasting impact on the world. But what does impact really mean?

Last week we attended two very interesting workshops:

🌎☕ Belu Water x Nemi Teas Project 101 where we heard from Jamie Mitchell on all things purpose and how businesses can create positive impact.
We also enjoyed some lovely tea tasting and learned how to properly brew our tea!

🌱📈 Huckletree hosted an impact and data workshop with Mahima Sukhdev where we learned how to approach measuring and managing our environmental and social impact as a small business. We discussed how to think about impact through a versatile framework driven by data and science. We definitely left the session with lots of invaluable insight to take into account.

It's been such an inspiring week surrounded by leaders in the sustainability space and getting to meet other brands and businesses with purpose at the heart of what they do.

After several weeks of testing packaging designs on fb ads for our first hero product (puffs!) going into the streets of London asking people to help pick the best design route, we finally have the design for our lentil puffs ready to go!
