About the role
As an Installation Technician you will be responsible for the installation, repair, upgrade, and maintenance of digital menu boards, neon signs, vinyl and electrical equipment for our customers. Your duties include traveling to customers' place of business, installing menu boards using the appropriate brackets, troubleshooting problems with existing equipment, testing connections, providing user instructions to customers, and cleaning up after the job is complete.
To ensure success as an Installation Technician, you should have sound electrical and mechanical knowledge, be able to climb ladders and work in confined spaces for an extended period, have exceptional communication skills and a passion for customer service.
Installations take place using the company van only. The Installation Technician will be responsible for organising the back of the van, maintaining stock and planning the installations ahead.
Interviews for this job will take place face to face only.
Installation Technician Responsibilities
• Traveling to customers' place of business
• Installing electrical/digital computer equipment such as flat-screen televisions, projectors, routers, desktop computers, laptops and tablets.
• Vinyl application on a variety of surfaces. Training is available.
• Suggesting areas where equipment should be set up and where cords should be placed
• Troubleshooting problems with existing equipment
• Testing old and new installation connections
• Providing customers with verbal and written operating instructions for new equipment
• Maintaining equipment
• Cleaning up after the job is complete
• Recording and maintaining stock levels
• Maintaining the work vehicle.
Installation Technician Requirements
• Proven work experience as an electrical installer or similar
• Strong organisational skills
• Common sense
• Outstanding time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of modern electrical and digital equipment
• Ability to learn to solve problems and repair equipment on site

About the role

Chartered Accountant Duties and Responsibilities
An experienced accountant is required for the accounts department within this busy, new but multi-nation expectation. The role is one of accounts supervisor in a team of 2 managers, 1 supervisor and 2 directors This position would suit a candidate with the following Professional qualification (CA, ACCA etc).
· A strong technical knowledge of current accounting regulations and issues.
· Ability to supervise and motivate junior staff.
· Excellent communication skills with initiative and good problem-solving ability.
· Good knowledge of Microsoft software used in a paperless office.
· Experience of QuickBooks would be an advantage.
· The client base is highly varied and will provide challenges.
