We change our menu every 3-4 months to pay respect to British seasonal produce, whilst celebrating our Jamaican soul. (Let's face it, plantain will never be in season here in the UK so some compromises will always have to be made).

This is a dish from our current winter menu, fondant sweet potato, whipped lentils, pickled mustard seed and a red cabbge sauce infused with scotch bonnet, thyme and pimento. This sauce inspired by a photo of a dish by and is stunning.

Definitely save space for one of our delicious desserts. This baked apple with coconut ice cream is nostalgic, comforting and incredibly moreish.

Our croquettes with slow cooked goat and plantain ketchup has become our signature dish. Our menu changes next week but you'll be happy to know these aren't going anywhere.

Wood & Water is a new concept launched in Nov 2021 in the heart of Brixton, already described as one of London’s best new openings by Sunday Times. An independent restaurant serving up Modern British cuisine. Our small plate menu changes every 3-4 months keeping things fresh for our team and our guests.

We’re currently in search of 1 full-time chef, 1 part-time chef and a part-time KP. The ideal candidate is passionate about food with the ability to contribute to new dishes, is comfortable working alone as well as amongst a small team and can handle pressure during peak moments.

What we offer:

• Hourly rate dependent upon experience
• Salaried position available after probationary period
• 25% off at our sister bar
• At least 2 days off per week
