Step back in time and explore the captivating history of the Old War Office in our annual public access day tours at Raffles London at The OWO. Our 2025 dates have now been released and with only ten dates available, be sure to reserve your space now via the link in our bio.
 

We are delighted to announce that after a successful two weeks, will extend their Forest Menu until the end of October.
 
The six course menu is inspired by the seasonal ingredients found in and among the abundant forests of the British Isles during the autumn.

Interestingly, London itself is classified as a forest by the United Nations, which defines a forest as any land with more than 10% canopy cover, trees taller than 5 metres, and an area exceeding 0.5 hectares. A special thanks to Alexandra from our team for bringing this fact to our attention!
 
As UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Biodiversity, chef Colagreco is committed to championing this crucial environmental cause through his food. Forest landscapes are home to roughly 80% of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity, providing a bountiful foundation for showcasing the breadth of edible species our planet has to offer.
 

What’s on in our bars this October 🎃

✨ To mark 200 years, The Macallan is releasing two new whiskies in celebration of the brand’s interpretations of time travel through whisky mastery. Join us at The Guard’s Bar this October for a bespoke menu and the chance to experience a dram of The Macallan TIME: SPACE Mastery.

🍸 Throughout London Cocktail Week (3rd to 13th October), The Spy Bar is offering guests the opportunity to explore the Vesper Martini, first crafted by Ian Fleming’s James Bond in Casino Royale. With a flight of serves, each with distinct vermouth pairings guests will journey between the past, present and future, showcasing the diverse flavours the spies of the Old War Office once savoured.

🇳🇴 Join The Spy Bar on 12th October for the conclusion of London Cocktail Week with tenth ranked .oslo flying in from Oslo to host a takeover like no other. Expect the best of what Norway has to offer with Nordic infused drinks all served underground in the original 006 and 007 rooms of what was once the Old War Office.

This we are shining a light on Mauro Colagreco, founder of three restaurants here at Raffles London at The OWO.

Mauro Colagreco is the first chef in UNESCO’s history to be appointed Goodwill Ambassador of Biodiversity and Mauro’s values can be seen across his restaurants.

🌿 Mauro Colagreco at Raffles London is a one-of-a-kind culinary experience that brings the excellence of the British terroir to the table whilst tracing a path through the English countryside and its beautiful gardens.

🌻 Mauro’s Table is inspired by the biodiversity of the Elizabethan Knot Garden with the cycle of nature dictating the rhythm of the menu.

🍋 Saison showcases seasonal British ingredients with Mediterranean simplicity throughout breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a wine list inspired by the English passion for the Riviera.

The history of our Slings 🍒

The menu at The Guards Bar and Lounge is inspired by the iconic Singapore Sling created at in 1915.

True to the nature of Raffles Hotels, we showcase a selection of Slings including the original Singapore Sling, as well as a London Sling using the best of British ingredients.

Our menu also features a seasonal Sling, the favourite signature Sling from one of our sister properties around the world. Currently we are serving a Pralin Sling borrowed from , celebrating the beauty of the island.

Congratulations are in order for the amazing teams at both The Guards Bar and The Spy Bar who have obtained one and two pins respectively in 🥂
