Location: East Block, San Quentin State Prison, Marin County. The only penitentiary in the USA still set up for prisoners condemned to death. A Prison Officer escorts a woman into a holding unit to meet Prisoner CDC #49328 Mitchell. The visitor is not known to the prisoner. As of 2021, East Block housed 728 male and 22 female inmates.
