The UK really does make an advent calendar for everything! But a handmade watercolour advent calendar is way better than a pork scratchings advent calendar. (We’re not at all biased!) Preorder yours through the link in our bio (our handmade watercolour advent calendar, not the pork scratchings one. We absolutely do not sell that, you’re on your own if that appeals to you.) No animals were harmed in the making of our advent calendar (except that one time Baby Yoda fell down attempting a cartwheel and we’re not even sure he qualifies as an animal). Calendars will begin shipping out the week of October 21st!

We know it’s only August, but Santa Baby Yoda brings tidings of good cheer and news of a new advent calendar for 2024! We know you missed our advent calendar last year!

This year’s calendar will feature a mix of metallic, chrome, holographic, and colourshift handmade watercolour paints, all new colours so there’s no risk of repeats if you have any of our paint.

It will be available in quarter pans or dot cards.

Preorders will open in my Etsy shop on September 30th, but Santa Baby Yoda and I couldn’t contain our excitement and wanted to let you know early so you can start saving 😊 We’ll be releasing more details and pricing info next month.

I have a shop holiday coming up! If you’re new here, a few times a year I travel to Kentucky to visit family and temporarily ship a limited number of tins and dot cards from there. I realize this is confusing because most Etsy shops just don’t up and change their shipping country! USPS charges a lot more for international shipping than Royal Mail does, so I choose to limit my listings to just American customers during this time. Once I’m back in London on June 11th, I’ll be able to ship anywhere in the world again, and you’ll be able to shop my full inventory. If you anticipate you’ll need some paint in early June, please remember to get your order in before May 19th! I’ll be temporarily closing my shop in the evening on Sunday, May 19th and will reopen in America on Tuesday, May 21st. I really appreciate your patience and understanding!

I wanted to let everyone know about an easy way you can help me (and any other Etsy shop) save on Etsy fees! Etsy is an amazing platform to help creators sell their goods, but the one downside is the fees they charge sellers. But if you use a seller’s Share & Save link (shopname.etsy.com, so mine is reneeissancecolours.etsy.com), Etsy will charge less fees on that order. On orders placed between now and February 15, Etsy is charging ZERO transaction fees on Share & Save orders! 😱 So the next time you need some paint, I would really appreciate it if you used my Share & Save link (it’s in my bio since you can’t click links in a post). I can’t thank you enough for your support over the years! 🙏 Yoda best! 💚

I realize I’m probably the only Etsy shop that just goes on a long holiday and temporarily changes their country, so I wanted to clear up some confusion!

For majority of the year, my Etsy shop is based in London, UK. But my parents live in Kentucky in America, and since I’m very close with them and we love celebrating the holidays together, I choose to spend Thanksgiving through Christmas with them. Since Reneeissance Colours is my full-time gig, I don’t want to be without any income during this long break, so I bring as much inventory as I can in my luggage and temporarily ship from America. USPS charges a lot more for international shipping than Royal Mail does, so I choose to limit my listings to just American customers during this time. Once I’m back in London on December 30th, I’ll be able to ship anywhere in the world again, and you’ll be able to shop my full inventory as shown in the reel I posted yesterday. I really appreciate your patience and understanding! It’s not easy for me to be losing out on a lot of customers during the busiest shopping days of the year, but I’m so happy I get to enjoy so much precious family time. I am incredibly grateful to everyone in America who has placed orders this week, Yoda best! 💚 If you’d like a way to gift my paint for Christmas but are unable to order now, consider giving an Etsy gift card. Then the recipient can place an order after December 30th.

Happy Black Friday, everyone! It’s time for my annual reminder on why I don’t do sales or coupons. Absolutely nothing against other businesses that are choosing to offer sales during this time, but I do feel like there’s too much pressure for small businesses to try to compete with Amazon and other huge cooperations. My products are not overpriced, they’re expensive, specifically because they are painstakingly handmade in small batches by myself. I choose not to inflate my prices so I can offer the occasional sale because I don’t think that’s fair to my most loyal customers who paid full price. I know that’s probably not the most effective marketing strategy, but I care deeply about customer satisfaction and as a consumer get soooo frustrated when something I buy gets cheaper the next day. I hope you understand!
