Tim's place was, by far, THE best holiday rental I have ever stayed in! From the beginning, the experience was fantastic. Communication was quick, easy and detailed. The apartment is within 2mins walk to Covent Garden, yet it's hidden in a side street that is away from the main roads and amazingly quiet! This is a place that has to be seen to be truly (URL HIDDEN) is beautifully decorated...comfortable...cozy...a true haven. If you're expecting something like a hotel/box in the sky, then this is not for you. But if you're wanting a home away from home...somewhere to feel comfortable and relax, yet be in the middle of everything, then Tim's place is perfection! Tim met me when I arrived and helped me up the stairs with my luggage, and when I walked in the fire was on...the living room was nice and warm...and Tim had brought me everything I could possibly need. A bottle of prosecco and some breakfast provisions for the morning. What a lovely surprise! The beds were incredibly comfortable and the rooms are a fantastic place to get a great sleep. You could hear a pin (URL HIDDEN) wonderful! I cannot possibly express how much I loved staying here, except to say that I will now stay there every time I'm in London. My father and I spent 10 days or so with Miriam and Tim's flat as our base in London and we couldn't have asked for a better set up! Everything about it was lovely - the charming space, the unbelievably central and convenient location, the attentive hosts, it was the ideal Airbnb experience. As others have mentioned, the space really must be seen to be believed. With so much detail and craftsmanship that went it to the space, you notice a new thoughtful and clever detail each day. It is a cozy place, thoughtfully appointed with everything you could need - linens, kitchen equipment, toiletries are all there for you. The fast wifi and smart TV are also a great bonus. The beds are so comfortable and the apartment is kind of amazingly quiet given the central location, sleeping soundly was never an issue. Getting around London is absurdly easy from this apartment. The Piccadilly Line is a minute's walk away, as are several bus routes. Taxis are constantly passing by so grabbing one is never a problem. On foot you're less than ten minutes from so many things - Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, the Strand, the British Museum, dozens of theaters, hundreds of pubs and restaurants, and outstanding shopping. Not to mention the grocery stores and convenience shops that are just steps away. Communication and coordination prior to our stay from Miriam and Tim was thoughtful and informative, I never felt unsure about directions, what to expect upon arrival or how to reach my hosts if I had any questions. When I arrived, I was slightly earlier than check in time but Tim was there to greet me, help me with my bags and introduce me to the space. He was so helpful in answering questions and talking a bit about the neighbourhood, recommendations, whatever I needed. I will definitely be back to stay again, if you have the chance to book this space you won't regret it. Thanks so much!
