Michael Landy celebrates traditional and newly invented Cockney rhyming slang in a series of fluorescent signs across the waterfront at East Bank, the UKβs newest cultural hub on the Park. This artwork reflects the areaβs rich and creative past, while acknowledging the fluid evolution of language. The project also includes new terms that highlight recent diasporic influences in this part of London.
