Drake’s in Harris. A land of seabirds, sheep, ancient standing stones, distilleries, Presbyterianism, and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Turquoise water, powdery golden sand, and dark mountain peaks that poke out from a gloomy horizon. Shame about the weather. Its most famous export is Harris Tweed, that world renowned fibre that is solely produced on this little island far, far away. As the Harris Tweed Authority says, it is home to “every weaver, dyer, blender, carder, spinner, warper, finisher and inspector of Harris Tweed cloth.”
Fin wears the grey herringbone Mk. VII games suit, crafted using Harris Tweed woven by local craftspeople inside their island homes. Head to drakes.com to see more.
We had long admired the art of the British painter, Danny Fox, holding out faint hopes of a studio visit in Los Angeles, where we believed he was still living. Then one winter’s lunchtime in late 2021, he walked in through the front door at Drake’s… in London. He bought a suit and left his contact details. Months later we’re stood inside his home, discussing renovations, painting, and other people named Danny Fox (there’s a footballer, a pornstar and an Australian artist).
Wearing his own Drake’s made to order suit, as well as a collection of Games tailoring, Perennial and new season Drake’s pieces, we visited the visionary artist at home in St Ives. A meeting and creative collaboration many months in the making. Head to drakes.com to see the full lookbook and interview with Danny.
Introducing the Drake’s Autumn Collection. Worn by our friend Karlmond Tang, it’s a celebration of that unique transitional period between autumn and winter, when the air begins to cool, the nights begin to draw in and the opportunity to layer — Harris tweed and Italian flannel tailoring, brushed Shetland knitwear and bouclé wool fleeces — arises again.
Head to drakes.com to see the full lookbook and collection.
Drake’s Perennials 2022. In order to demonstrate the full scope of Perennials, we gathered an eclectic group of our friends, colleagues and collaborators. There are artists, actors, restaurateurs, architects and photographers, an IT consultant, an eyewear designer and a sandwich baron.
Some are wearing new clothes, others well-loved suits, ties and shirts that have been worn 100 times or more. Everyone has their own way of wearing Drake’s, which is just how we like it. See the full collection and lookbook now at drakes.com.
Throwing Fits for Drake’s. Hosts of the hit menswear podcast, James Harris (airborne) and Lawrence Schlossman (with orange Casentino wool duck) photographed in New York.
“You can’t be too serious. No one cares about an artist’s favourite album! If you already have rapport with someone, that's even better. We want to talk to people where, after an hour, you’re going to want to hang out and get a beer with them.” Head to drakes.com to read the full interview.

Owner of Crowley Vintage and friend of Drake’s, Sean Crowley photographed inside his Brooklyn shop. A Crowley Vintage pop-up will be opening inside the Drake’s Open Studio on Canal Street this Friday, 19th November.
“The same stuff that I was selling five years ago, I'm selling today. Men are still excited about a great jacket, about a great suit, a great piece of tailored outerwear. I think that for so many people, working remotely, or working from home, it's the same way that 50 years ago, if you had to wear a suit and tie, all you wanted to do when you got home was to tear it off. You wanted the other, the comfort. I really think that the opposite is true now. If your daily uniform is, or was, a pair of shorts, or yoga pants, you'll want to change. To dress up and feel smart again.” Head to drakes.com to read our interview with Sean.
Alpine and aperitif-appropriate cardigans, fleeces and soft cashmere crew necks, available now at drakes.com.
The founders of Norman’s Cafe, Richie Hayes and Elliott Kaye, wearing the Drake’s zip-up fleece in a premium Italian bouclé wool blend. Over beans on toast and builders tea we photographed the pair sporting our new fleece inside Norman's and found out more about their simple food success story. Head to drakes.com to read the full interview.
A biomedical scientist at Imperial College Hospital, who doubles as the proprietor and sole employee of Old Old Woods, Tola Adefioye began restoring furniture as a hobby in 2015, turning it into a nights and weekends business, with his mid-century pieces now highly sought-after among collectors and interior designers in London and beyond.
We paid a visit to Tola’s Deptford studio, to discuss his two very different lives, eclectic taste, trusting his gut and rescuing masterpieces from the rubbish. Head to drakes.com to read the full interview.

Its coarse, slightly slubby texture and its dense weave make for a truly special bit of fabric, woven by a storied Japanese mill. Alongside these, we have some lightweight striped shirts. Shop at drakes.com.
Cut a dash in our new Mk. IV Games Suit, made from a rose-pink corduroy that’s quite simply wonderful. Now at drakes.com.

We introduce our Italian-made linen-silk herringbone jacket in a couple of new colours, and the varsity-inspired 'D' jumper returns, this time knitted from a light cotton-cashmere blend. Available now at drakes.com
The Mk. IV returns, cut from an ottoman weave cotton-linen with a printed chequerboard design, inspired by a piece of vintage workwear we found on our travels. The cloth has been enzyme washed to soften it, and the pattern will fade gently over time.
On top of that, we have our Two-Pocket Work Shirt made up in some lightweight cottons for the approaching warmer weather. Shop now at drakes.com.
Introducing the Suede A-2 Bomber. Cut from the same heavyweight 'crosta' suede as our Five-Pocket Chore Jackets, this A-2 bomber has a glut of terrific details, such as gold-plated Swiss hardware, genuine enamel snaps, and velvet-lined pockets. Available now at drakes.com.
Rounding out our jersey release, we present this long sleeve polo shirt, with an extended placket, button cuffs, and chest pocket. Now available at drakes.com.
Introducing the new Mock Collar Long-Sleeve T-Shirt. Inspired by vintage sportswear, it sits somewhere between a rugby shirt, a t-shirt, and a polo. It's cut from the same English knitted cotton jersey as our rugby shirt, and will wear in beautifully.
