We are The Whale Tea, an independent bakery & bubble tea company. We are looking for trainee baker, baristas to join our fabulous team in various location in London.

Trainee Baker - responsibilities: (Full time, working from 6am daily, Colindale branch)
• Assist in the preparation and production of bakery items according to recipe and quality control.
• Measure and mix ingredients, bake and decorate various bakery products.
• Operate kitchen and bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens and etc.
• Maintain cleanliness and organised working area throughout the day.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements:
• Bakery experience or food service experience preferred but not essential, as full training will be given.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Ability to speak mandarin (preferred but not essential)

Bubble Tea Barista - responsibilities: (Full time/ Part time, various location in London)
• Prepare and serve bubble tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organised working area throughout the day.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
• Flexibility to work in various roles within the bubble tea shop, including cashier, barista, and food preparation, as needed.

Requirements:
• Barista experience or Hospitality service experience (preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Provide great customer service
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Ability to speak mandarin (preferred but not essential)

Salary:
£10.5-12/hr (21 years old and above), under 21 years old according to the salary of the British government website. Must be eligible to work in the UK.

MANDARIN / CANTONESE SPEAKING BUBBLE TEA BARISTA!!!

We are looking for Mandarin / Cantonese speaking Bubble Tea Baristas to support us in the daily operation of the store. This position will cover all aspects of the Bubble Tea Barista which include providing excellent customer service, team leading, upholding company standards and values and to build a great team and working environment.

Job Duties:
- Providing excellent customer service
- Bubble tea ingredients preparation and tea making
- Ensuring all food safety procedures are strictly followed according to sanitary regulations
- Operate regular cleaning schedule which is follow the hygiene and safety standard
- Available to work flexible hours that may include evening, weekends, nights, and / or holidays

Benefit:
- Bonus scheme
- Drink and staff discount

Job Type:
- Full time, contract (min 40 hours per week)
- Preferable Mandarin / Cantonese speaking
- Basic English communication skills

Salary:
- £10.50 and above per hour (21 years old and above)
- Salary may vary based on working experience
