بۇ تاماق بەزى يەرلەردە « جوتاڭ»دەپ ئاتىلىدۇ. ئۇيغۇر خەلقى بولۇپمۇ دېھقانلار قىش كۈنلىرى بەدەننى ئىسسىق تۇتىدۇ، دەپ بۇ تاماقنى ئېتىپ يەيدۇ. بۇ تاماقنىڭ ئېتىلىشى مۇنداق: قوناق ئۇنى ( ئاق قوناق ياكى كۆممە قوناق ئۇنى) قازاندا قايناۋاتقان قايناق سۇغا چېلىنىدۇ. بۇ نوغۇچ بىلەن داۋاملىق ئىلەشتۈرۈپ تۇرۇلىدۇ. قويۇلغاندىن كىيىن قاچىلارغا ئۇسۇلىدۇ. ئۇنىڭ ئۈستىگە ئالدىن تەييارلانغان سۇلۇق ھەم ئاچچىق - چۈچۈك سەي سېلىنىپ قوشۇق بىلەن يېيىلىدۇ.

Bu tamaq bezi yerlerde « jotang»dep atilidu. Uyghur xelqi bolupmu déhqanlar qish künliri bedenni issiq tutidu, dep bu tamaqni étip yeydu. Bu tamaqning étilishi mundaq: qonaq uni ( aq qonaq yaki kömme qonaq uni) qazanda qaynawatqan qaynaq sugha chélinidu. Bu noghuch bilen dawamliq ileshtürüp turulidu. Qoyulghandin kiyin qachilargha usulidu. Uning üstige aldin teyyarlan’ghan suluq hem achchiq - chüchük sey sélinip qoshuq bilen yéyilidu.
