The sweet smell of spring took over our Ballroom featuring wild flowers 💐from primroses and pink peonies, bluebells and blackthorns as we celebrated the official launch of with a blooming luncheon with friends and family. Here’s to spreading floral joy in true Claridge’s style! 🌸🌿

Even though the great British weather keeps throwing us curveballs, we’re popping the champagne 🍾 and toasting to summer soirées as we make our Claridge’s al-fresco gathering quite the affair. Expect our legendary Claridge’s Fried Chicken, aka C.F.C 🍗 and a daily changing trio of savoury crumpets. Lights, camera, action! 📸 Our very own is unveiling a brand new exhibition with two of London’s most iconic photographers, David Bailey and Mary McCartney.

Calling all photographer afficionados, ‘Double Exposure: David Bailey and Mary McCartney’ will feature photographs from the swinging 60s to the present day. Get up close and personal with portraits including Harry Styles, Kate Moss, Jerry Hall and world renowned trumpeter Miles Davies. 🎺

‘Double Exposure: David Bailey and Mary McCartney’ will be open from Tuesday 14th May every day to the public until 19th July.

Claridge’s ArtSpace presents ‘Double Exposure: David Bailey & Mary McCartney,’ a new photography exhibition of two major British photographers, opening in Brook’s Mews next week.

Curated by Director of Chaussee 36 Photography and Veritas Centre for Photography, Brandei Estes, this exhibition spans photographs from the 1960s to the present day – showcasing a mutual interest in reinventing portraiture alongside interconnected aesthetic concerns and a shared sensibility. This marks the first occasion for Bailey to show with another photographer in London.

Unfolding like a conversation between two friends, Double Exposure: David Bailey & Mary McCartney is an exhilarating pairing of two major epoch-defining British artists.

Opens to the public on Tuesday 14 May 2024 - until 19 July.
