2023 harvest of Hadong Black arriving shortly - this black tea is made with young leaves harvested at the beginning of spring.

Producing a delicate, yet deep flavour with hints of dark chocolate and sweet apple, this is definitely one of our favourites here at be-oom.

We are getting some incredible early afternoon light inside the greenhouse these days. The winter was unusually long, but we are now even more thankful for this light and warmth.

For a gentle boost of energy while the weather is finally getting warm 🌱

The simple and most common way of making it is:
1. Add one teaspoon of malcha (2g) into small bowl
2. Add a splash of warm water (about 80 degrees)
3. Whisk until frothy
4. Enjoy as is, or pour into a cup of water or milk

Also freshly harvested early March this year is Blossom Petals magnolia flower tea.

Bright and sweetly fragrant with a strong note of citrus and ginger, these petals are a steady favourite at be-oom.

We hosted a little ‘knit & tea’ party for in our garden last week.

We are doing a GIVEAWAY to celebrate the launch of Su Scott ( )’s ‘Rice Table’, a cookbook of Korean recipes and stories from delicious memories from Su’s - and many of our - childhood in Korea.
