My summer holiday style hasn't varied much over the years - aside from a summer in my teens when I dabbled with triangle scarf tops (never again) it's a simple formula of denim shorts, pretty tops and easy frocks.
This holiday, however, saw the addition of some lilac terry towelling which has been a joyful hit of newness and a much needed update to my Juicy Couture terry outfits of old.

Double Trouble 👭

Can’t quite believe where the time has gone but today, Dylan and Ethan have turned 13 - David and I now have 3 teenagers at home 😳😳
We are all suffering with end-of-term-itis so having a low key birthday celebration, but it does really feel like a milestone so had to share 😊
And if any other parents/carers of twin boys have tips on navigating the teenage years, let me know!!

There’s definitely still a noticeable chill in the air, so thought it was a good time to remind you about some of our lovely spring knits.

I wasn't sure whether to post this but I read recently that it's important to share the good and the bad on here so here goes. Plus my boy deserves a square all to himself.

Last Friday evening, my beloved cat Gatsby, my first baby and our beloved family cat was attacked and killed by 3 dogs just outside our house. To make matters worse, my 2 sons witnessed the whole event, so it has been quite the traumatic week.
He was an old boy, almost 17, and had had a good life, but to be taken from us in such a way is unfathomable. Losing a family pet is part of life and also the natural order of things, and I know he was only a cat, but he was our cat and we all loved him very much.
We are missing his flat face, his pottering about, even his sometimes very demanding meows, but mostly, we are missing his constant companionship.
A kinder natured, sweeter, gentler cat I never did meet and I'm not just saying that. I know the pain will get easier to bear and we were lucky to have so many lovely memories but for now we are all a bit sad 😔
He was truly the Great Gatsby.

Hello 2024!
We were lucky enough to spend New Year's Eve together, so we danced 2023 away and are looking forward to all the new year has in store.
While we aren't really ones for resolutions, the fresh start is always a lovely opportunity to reflect on what has passed and focus on what we would like to come.
