Just another awesome installation of a BZ system to this bedroom in a high end property, and very welcome it is too - our client is looking forward to the comfortable evenings, whatever conditions the weather throws at them.

It’s always nice to receive a new accreditation and this SSIP accreditation from SMAS is no different.

An SSIP accreditation demonstrates that a company follows Health & Safety procedures and has suitable procedures in place to operate safely and correctly in their industry.

This one has gone straight on the wall!

A nice little 2way multi-split installed recently.

A multi-split is a condensing unit, or an outdoor unit as many people call it, which is designed to have more than one indoor unit connected to it.

These are great for locations where there might not be much space available for multiple condensing units, and, of course, only one outdoor unit looks neater than multiple condensing units!

The ‘exposed ceiling’ look has its detractors and supporters, like many things of course. But installation of air conditioning systems in a location with no ceiling does throw up an additional consideration.

Not only is the unit itself more on display but so too are the interconnecting services like the cabling, pipework and drainage. Like most companies we prefer the use of cable tray to contain the services - it keeps the appearance neat and tidy and enhances the ‘industrial look’ too.

Another tidy little multi-split installation completed this week. It’s another satisfied customer and we’re feeling rather pleased too.

Whilst we often use trunking on our jobs, it’s not often you get a chance to use two different coloured trunkings as we have here.

With white rendered walls demanding white trunking and a flat rooftop requiring a discreet black trunking which would blend in more effortlessly, this project was the perfect opportunity to combine the black and white trunking.

This 4way Under Ceiling Cassette is unique on the market; only offer these units.

Whilst not everyone’s ‘cup of tea’ they are perfect for situations where a cassette is needed, usually for their air distribution capabilities or perhaps there aren’t any suitable mounting positions available on nearby walls, but where there is no ceiling void which is where you’d normally position a cassette unit.

This refurbished cafe will certainly be cooler in the coming summer months, and warmer next winter as well for that matter, as a result of their new a/c unit.

Having thought for years that there wasn’t a unit which could fit in their cafe, it’s fair to say we have put a smile on their face with this new addition!!

This 6kW Panasonic wall mounted unit has WiFi connectivity and Nanoex Technology fitted as standard. Like all modern a/c units, it offers heating and cooling as standard too.

It’s a tight fit but this client got their Panasonic Etherea fitted!

They’re very pleased with it and so they should be; the Etherea is Wi-Fi connected, whisper quiet and is complete with Nanoex Texhnology which inhibits viruses, bacteria, odours, mould and pollen which is a great relief for asthma and hay fever sufferers.

With Spring just around the corner, relief is at hand.

We’re rather partial to the compact cassettes. This cassette is one of 14 fitted on a Heat Recovery VRF system which we recently installed at a Fire Station in London.

A Heat Recovery system allows each room to have independent control of their own conditions and each can autonomously heat or cool, completely separately to other rooms.

This unusual a/c installation is not your typical a/c system, that’s for sure!

This round black cassette is manufactured by Samsung and is unique on the market. The 360° air louvres mean the distribution of air throughout the room is much more even than with a traditional square cassette and the black appearance means the unit cane blend is so much more readily. Many people say it looks like a DJ’s sound speaker!

Can you think where a unit like this would complement a space well?
