One of the revelations God taught me about financial success in ministry is to find something to sell.

Every wealthy pastor sells something. Most of the pastors you admire all over the world are selling something.

My dear pastor what are you selling? You must create products and services that adds value to people and sell.

TD JAKES, KENNETH COPELAND, JOYCE MEYER, CREFLO DOLLAR, BILL WINSTON, JOHN MAXWELL, MATTHEW ASHIMOLOWO, SAMUEL CHAND, CINDY TRIM, BILL WINSTON, PETER J. DANIELS, MARILYN HICKEY etc they are all selling something.

The unfortunate thing is that though we are selling we don’t want to admit that we are selling.

Many of the above names have dozens of products they are selling.

I intentionally didn’t mention any pastor name from Ghana but 100% of our Ghanaian pastors who are wealthy are also selling something.

Dear pastor, what are you also selling? One of the common products pastors sell is their books. So you can understand why many pastors have written over 100 books. They are still writing and selling.

Many pastors have bookstores they sell souvenirs, ANOINTING OILS FROM JERUSALEM, JORDAN WATER, SCENTED CANDELS, CHURCH STICKERS, CONFERENCE T-SHIRTS, MUGS, GOWNS, COMMUNION, SWORDS, HORNS etc on their church premises.

It is not only prophets that are selling oooo!!!!

If you don’t sell something and you are depending on the tithe and offerings you might struggle financially.

Not many pastors will tell you this.

FIND SOMETHING TO SELL.

You must have a product to sell or service to render as a pastor so you can be rewarded with money.

ADDRESSING MINISTRY MATTERS- PART 1
Looking at the current trends of things among the charismatics it looks like after so many years of ministry in a denomination if you are released or you resign there is a high level of probability to leave with nothing.

Even when you resign on a good note if care is not taken you will forever become an enemy and be tagged as disloyal person.

No matter how many years of service and how loyal you were once you decide to leave know that there will be no official send off and no reward for the number of years you served.

We should be able to make things clear and let our associates know that if at a point if you resign or you are released there is nothing for you, I think it is better so people know what to expect.

It also means that you that you are resigning know that you might go with nothing and no official send off for you.

I think when we make things clear people will know what to do and there will be no disappointments and hurts.

I have almost concluded that in this ministry when you are faced with serious challenges not many will be there to stand with you or assist you. You must learn to fight your own battles. You must learn to stand on your feet.

In conclusion, before you resign or ask for a release at least have a minimum of 2 years of rent paid in advance if you don’t have your own house and a minimum of 1 year living expenses in an emergency account.

AS IT IS NOW IF YOU RESIGN OR ARE RELEASED FROM A DENOMINATION YOU MIGHT LEAVE WITH NOTHING….. If that is what it is we must just make it clear so people know what to expect.

DIASPORA PASTOR

One of the greatest thing that happened to me several years ago was the decision to create my own platform back home in Ghana.

Every year I will come to Ghana sometimes 5 times to organise my own seminars, conferences and meetings. This became a very big foundation to take off in ministry in Ghana.

When you are in abroad and you are visiting home a lot of pastors are eager to host you and give you their platform but the moment you decide to stay for 6 months continuously they seem not to invite you again. IT IS NORMAL…

Many pastors who stayed in broad and refused to build their own platform back home with time become irrelevant in their own mother land.

You will be shocked to realise that most of the people who give you platform will suddenly withdraw when you start building your own platform.

Because some of them have built a solid base over time they might have visible results than you and soon they might think they are ahead of you so they can’t give you their platform again.

My dear diaspora pastor, make up your mind to do something back home. It will never be easy but it has to be done.

This ministry to be on a cutting edge you must learn to create your own platform. I know many diaspora pastors who have fizzled out back home because they failed to build their own platform.

Ministry in abroad is not easy especially after the COVID. Ministry is never like before in abroad and it’s getting harder and harder.

Let God give you a vision back home and start pursuing it gradually. Don’t depend on other people pulpit all the time.

Africa is the place for ministry, after all God doesn’t do anything significant without the involvement of an African or black man….
