He graduated from with a degree in business management - but exploring the world is his real passion ✈️

After spending a year in Montana, USA, on an exchange - he’s now ready for a new adventure 🇺🇸

Next up is China - he can’t wait to get started at his kindergarten in Shenzhen later this summer 🇨🇳

One of his big motivations is to live in all of the worlds major superpowers 💪

He’s driven to see how people think differently - especially in regards to politics and religion 🙏

What a great idea - with the UK and US ticked off - it will be fascinating to see how China compares ✅

After smashing it at school - travelling all over Thailand - and generally having an awesome time … 💃🏻

Hello China … long time no see 👋

is finally heading back east this year ... after a five year hiatus 🤷🏼‍♀️

Her first taste of teaching in China was at a summer camp way back in 2019 - but she’s buzzing to be going back longer term this time 😲

While she was away … she only went and got a masters in Business Management from - a big well done to you Felicia 👏

In 2022, she also spent some time in Taiwan - but Shanghai will be her new home this time around - and we can’t wait to have her on the program 🎉

Originally from Sweden, Felicia moved to the UK when she was three years old - understanding the struggle of learning a new language, she is keen to help young Chinese students as much as she can 🗣️

We’re so excited to see how she gets on and know she’ll be great - watch this space 😁

Day off? Temple trip 👌

I’ve been to many a temple during my times in Thailand 🇹🇭

But this was the first with a local person who showed me a different perspective on it all 👏

I was even guided to do a traditional prayer - which was special despite the fact I am an atheist 🤷🏼‍♂️

And I asked so many questions about the religion and their beliefs - it was really fascinating 🪷

Buddhism still plays a huge role in many Thais lives - young and old 🤝

It’s great to gain more of an understanding of this - and it was a wonderful day in a truly beautiful place 🌄

And of course I had to be repping a classic kit ⚽️

School by day - party by night 💃🏼

These lovely ladies from Ireland headed out to Thailand to teach with us last year ✈️

They absolutely smashed it at work and made the most of all the Land of Smiles has to offer 🏝️

From the mountains of the north to the beaches of the south - they’ve seen it all 👀

But now they’ve finished their placements - we want to wish them all the best of luck with whatever adventures are next 🌏

A success story in Poznan 💐

Balling in Budapest 💦🏐

Hungary’s capital may be known for it’s thermal baths - but it’s the pool where our man Sam has been spending his time 🏊🏼‍♂️

He’s swapped the US for life as a teacher in Budapest back in since August of 2023 - and is loving the vibrant social scene the city has to offer 💃🏽

But as well as making friends through school - he has found sports as a great way to meet people 💪

Waterpolo is his game of choice - he’s joined a mostly Hungarian team and says it’s awesome 🇭🇺

What a great way to meet people and absorb the local culture - g’warn Sam 👏

We encourage all our teachers to get involved with clubs or groups doing whatever they enjoy back home - and to try new things too 👀

When living in Thailand … you must get used to regular unscheduled visits 🤦🏼‍♂️

For a British person who’s been brought up to work to a schedule - this can be a shock to the system ⚠️

I moved into my new house with my friend on Monday this week - I started working again on Wednesday 👨🏼‍💻

To say I have been disturbed is an understatement 🫠

Whether it’s a neighbour bringing round a million bananas - the landlord dropping off some completely unnecessary furniture - or technicians popping in for an hour to install the WIFI … I’ve struggled to sit down at my laptop for more than two hours without someone paying a visit 🙈

But - this is the Thai way 🇹🇭

And I must accept it 🤝

It’s actually incredibly wholesome and the community feel is great - I’m sure I’ll get more peace in time - but it’s a whirlwind right now 💨

Songkran 2024 is right around the corner 🎉

But there’s far more to this festival than just water fights and fun 💧🔫

It takes place during the height of summer in Thailand - with temperatures regularly over 40° 🥵

Throwing water on each doesn’t sound so crazy after all 🌊

The festival marks the start of the new year in the traditional Thai calendar - and is celebrated in some order southeast Asian countries 🗓️

People travel across the county to visit family, friends and loved ones ♥️

It’s origins are in the Buddhist religion - this makes it a very special time to celebrate 🪷
