TFL works mean the Blackwall Tunnel will be closed to southbound traffic across a number of weekends in May and June (18-20 May, 1-3 June, 8-10 June and 29 June- 1 July).

Crayford Road will be closed in both directions from Roman Way to the roundabout at Station Road, from Mon. 25 July until Sunday 7 August, whilst Thames Water continue repairs to a collapsed water sewer.

There will also be other road closures on Station Road, Crayford Road Eastbound & temporary traffic lights at the junction of Whitehill Road.

As many of you will know, we have been working with a Ukrainian organisation in the UK over the last few weeks and transporting aid to the Poland / Ukraine border, which is then taken on by volunteers to the areas within Ukraine where is is most needed. 8 van loads have been delivered already and the 9th and 10th will be leaving the UK today. This has been made possible due to the many generous donations we have received and we would like to thank each and every person and organisation who has supported us in this venture. We will also be taking sunflower earrings this time as gifts for some of the ladies in Ukraine, to let them know we are thinking of them, which have been paid for by sponsors here and hand made by Eisig & Co Ltd.
