If ever there was a way to combat any ensuing autumnal blues, a glass of Beaujolais Nouveau is surely one of them. The style is fruity, joyful and fresh: a perfect partner for almost any meal and certainly excellent for just drinking by itself.

A great contrast to the heavier and more complex wines that we may turn our glasses toward as the weather becomes chillier.

With only a matter of weeks between harvest and bottling, there is always a certain sense of anticipation and energy surrounding this “new wine” which will be the very first possible moment for us to experience what this year’s vintage has to offer.

Starters include La soupe à l’oignon, Oeufs en meurette or Pâté de campagne maison. For mains choose from Boeuf or Mushroom Bourguignon or Boudoin Noir or Toulouse sausages with mash. To round off choose from Tarte au citron, Petit pot au chocolat or a selection of 3 French cheeses, served with baguette (supp £5).
All served with the Renaud Bodillard Beaujolais Villages 2024.

Janis and her daughter Olivia first visited and met us on 14/2/2020 a month before the first lockdown! It was a beautiful encounter where Charles told them how he first met Domi in Garrick and later on came to own the restaurant, get married and have children together..
We met again last night and mum Janis reminded me of how special this story is and how unique their experience in Le Garrick made them feel. It was such a pleasure to be reminded of why we do what we do. Making people happy. Share the joy… 😘🥰
