The bristles are made from soft, cruelty-free bristles - synthetic Taklon fibres which are 100% vegan.

The handcrafted handle’s are from sustainable Bamboo.

The metal ferrules are from recycled aluminium.

The brush box packaging is also eco-friendly; from sustainable and biodegradable FSC-certified cardboard, printed with natural soy ink, compostable "bioplastic" cornstarch windows and solvent-free water-based adhesives.

🌍 779 trees at Eden Projects, Madagascar -
In response to the large-scale loss of mangroves and upland forests in Madagascar, Eden initiated the Madagascar Reforestation Project. Since its inception, Eden has successfully planted over 10 million mangrove and dry deciduous trees in northwest Madagascar.

🌍 253 trees at Usambara Biodiversity Conservation, Tanzania - Preserving Biodiversity in the Eastern Arc Mountains rain forest is the primary goal of this project. Additionally, key issues to be addressed are reversing the serious deforestation around the Forest Nature Reserve, a critical need for woods and construction materials, the need for environmental conservation education, and extreme poverty alleviation through agroforestry.

Did you know, just one pound of carmine requires the death of 70,000 beetles?
As a vegan cosmetics brand we truly believe there should be no place for Carmine in beauty formulas ..yet the red dye sadly continues to be used by so many "cruelty-free" beauty brands who are fooling unassuming customers under the guise of it being vegan. Carmine is also deceivingly listed as C.I. 75470, cochineal, cochineal extract, crimson lake, red 4 or E120.

We keep seeing clean and green beauty brands who claim to have animal welfare ethics, yet their ingredient lists still include Carmine. We believe this is deceitful marketing and should be called out. Please be aware that even if a brand claims to be vegan lots of their products could still include this colourant. We recommend to always read the description and ingredients label before purchasing.

I'm Claudia, the founder of Honeypie Minerals. When I started formulating mineral makeup almost ten years ago I wanted to create products that ultimately helped me and my journey with acne-prone skin. I had suffered from years of painful spots and cysts which were only ever made worse by the liquid and cream makeup I used to conceal them. Nothing helped until I discovered the power of minerals. My skin literally started to calm and heal straight away and I dreamt of sharing this wonder with others.

Little did I know back then that my future self would create a natural cosmetics range that helped others too. If someone had told me of all the amazing positivity that would have stemmed from the acne I had experienced I wouldn't have believed them.

Honeypie wouldn't exist without that time in my life, and I can honestly say it was worth it and I'm forever grateful. So here's a thank you to my past acne!
