A PSA regarding bread;
We make focaccia every day here, brilliant, bouncy, pillows of delight made with love by the chefs each morning.

For the past 10 years, in the spirit of generosity that is fundamental to our food and service, we have been giving this bread to tables on arrival as they sit and peruse the menu.

This week we have made the slightly difficult decision to charge a nominal price for our bread. The reasons for this are relatively straightforward and common in an industry where it's becoming more important than ever to adapt and work shrewdly in order to thrive.

We hope that people understand us charging for everything that we cook and it should in no way detract from that munificent and hospitable nature that we are known for.

This week we celebrate 10 years of life here at 65 Camberwell Church St, a chance to say cheers to the pub and the people that have made it such a great place to spend this last decade.

The building that is now The Camberwell Arms was an old London dance hall in its first incarnation.

Please join us tomorrow from 6pm as we open the doors and tread these creaking boards once more in joyous and rambunctious fervour to mark the occasion. Certainly toasting the past as we look to the future.
