We need to grow our front of house team with experienced cafe team members. Based in NW London. Full time preferable but will consider part time. Join our family - we need you! Who are we looking for? We need an experienced barista (willing to work as an all rounder) who lives in or close to NW3. Management potential and therefore good at managing people & great with customers. Able to work in a clean and tidy manner even when busy and under pressure. Able to be aware of what is going on throughout the cafe at any given time. Creative and an ideas person. Confident but not arrogant, friendly and able to build rapport with customers and the team alike but remain professional. Full time minimum 40 hours per week. Good English and permission to live and work in England. Starting rate £13 per hour. Free food on shift. Discount on purchases. 28 days (8 hour days) holiday. Can anyone recommend a cleaning company that specialises in hospitality. We need our hob deep cleaned, possibly our deep fat fryer and oven. Based in NW London.

Hi Everybody, I bought a blender from Adexa which was the worst thing I could have done. After 1 month I had enough with its inefficiency and wanted a refund and for them to collect. They have refused to do so. They claim business law gives us just 14 days and is different from consumer law. Can anyone advise please? Thanks

Ok I think it’s time to address the elephant in the room😊. Every cafe is different so I thought it would be useful to clarify our position on customers working on their laptops, reading etc etc. The bottom line is you are all very welcome. All we ask for is some consideration and to remember that we are a business and do have high costs to cover. So if you are just 1 or 2 people please sit at a small table or accept that if we get busy we may ask you to move. Please be fair and be honest about your intentions (we don’t turn people away). Please be considerate and fair and show your appreciation by not just ordering 1 drink in 4 hours - just remember we are a business in a tough market. Finally, please be thoughtful and avoid the busy times particularly at weekend. All we ask is for you to be kind and it will be a happy place for all. Thank you 🙏

Are you interested in launching an evening pop up in Belsize Park ? We rent out our much loved cafe. We already have a regular pop up every 6 weeks on a Friday & Saturday. Would make an ideal wine bar as very cosy with dimmable lights. A great way to launch a new business. Ps photo shows layout for a private party.

Starting in January (possibly some days in December) we are looking for an experienced part-time Kitchen Porter. Working 9am to 2pm. Monday to Friday. £11.50 per hour. Paid monthly in to your bank. We listened and we heard, we are trialling opening a couple of evenings per week. We will be serving most of our menu (possibly excluding sandwhiches) and the usual alcohol offering, hot drinks and cakes.
