Landing on Monday 15th August, our brand new white paper titled The OTT Landscape in 2022 examines the state of the industry, uncovering more about the features and functionality that exist across 14 major platforms.
With increasing competition in the OTT space, we embarked on our own research journey to uncover key feature sets adopted by platforms that allow them to stand out from their competitors.
Of the 14 major platforms that we researched, streaming King (or does that crown now belong to since it passed them in total subscribers π€) was only one of two platforms that offered users the ability to rate a show. Giving users the option to rate shows means Netflix are able to personalise the platform to better cater for users' tastes, setting them apart from other players in the space that don't offer this level of personalisation.
