The scaffolding may be up but we are still open as usual!

If you've walked past then you might have seen that we're getting ready for a very exciting refurbishment.

We'll be open until 9pm on Sunday and then closed until the 6th November.

We can't wait to invite you back to the new and improved Bishop.

Tomorrow is the first day of sober October and we have so many options for you, from mocktails to gins to lagers, ciders, IPAs and wheat beer we have so much for you to try this sober October - including lucky saint on draught!

And this isn't just for October - we're committed to making sure we have a diverse range of alcohol free products every day of the year because the pub is for everyone to enjoy!

Sunday is the perfect day to appreciate our incredible team of chefs - their best and busiest day of the week.

Today we're particularly proud of Michal, our CdP who stepped up to run the kitchen when Chef Martin was away - and the food was all incredible! He's our own Michalin star.

Thank you Michal and all our wonderful chefs for all the hard work you put in to making the best food in East Dulwich.

And our third Oktoberfest beer is Erdinger, available in the regular and alkoholfrei (or alcohol free) for anyone wanting the Oktoberfest experience without the Oktoberfest hangover.

And our 2nd Oktoberfest beer is... a cheeky Paulaner! A top recommendation from the staff, and Paulaner is one of the OG Bavarian breweries, don't miss out on your chance to get a nice crisp pint.

Fridays are for turning a glass of fizz into a bottle, and we're here to help with fizz Fridays, every bottle is just £20, so get a group together and come cheers to the weekend with us.

We've been running our new menu for a week now and if your feedback is anything to go by then it is an absolute smash hit! We have new snacks, new lunch options, new salads and all of it warming and hearty to brace you against the very autumnal chill that has set in.
