THE BIBA STORY: 1964-1975 curated by

In the summer of 1963, fashion illustrator Barbara Hulanicki established a mail-order company selling affordable fashion appealing to a new generation of young women, which she named Biba.

The Biba Story explores how fashion phenomenon Biba blossomed to become the world’s first lifestyle label, sparking a revolution in how people shopped and how Biba earned its spot as the brand that epitomises 1960s and 1970s fashion.

One of the best TV shows I saw this year was Feud: Bette and Joan starring Jessica Lange, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Kathy Bates and Catherine Zeta Jones. The second season of Feud will focus on Truman Capote and his coterie of socialites, known as ‘swans’. Starring Tom Hollander as Capote, with Chloë Sevigny, Naomi Watts, Demi Moore, Diane Lane, Calista Flockhart and Molly Ringwald. The show comes out at the end of January … can’t wait to see the outfits.
