For the past year both Jealous galleries have been acting as registered food donation points for the Tottenham and Hornsey Foodbanks and SWAP SHOP will be our biggest venture to raise donations yet! Partnering with the Tottenham and Hornsey Food Banks, Jealous will be hosting SWAP SHOP shows across both our Crouch End and Shoreditch spaces. We will be offering artworks kindly donated by Jealous artists in exchange for monetary or food donations for the food banks, along with an exclusive release from artist duo @growup.sb and other works by the likes of @miss_bugs , @charmingbaker , Jealous Inc. and many many more. Simply come to either of our galleries with your donations and walk away with your new artwork! Now more than ever, we all need to help out for the ever-growing number of people going hungry on a daily basis. Since the pandemic in 2020, things have only gotten worse, so let’s try and make it better. So come in and swap food and cash donations for art. There is no minimum donation, or maximum, give what you can. 2 WEEKS TO GO!! We are so excited for our Summer Opening at Jealous North to celebrate Jess Wilson’s solo exhibition ‘The First Signs of Summer’. On Saturday the 2nd of July our Crouch End gallery will be holding a live Screenprinting event with cocktails from the wonderful Whitebox Drinks. @jesswilson1984 will be demonstrating the print technique used to create her delicate floral works, we can’t wait!! All are welcome for this fantastic afternoon - go on, bring a friend or two.
