Exciting news for La La Land fans! Award-winning director Bartlett Sher has shared an exclusive update on the highly anticipated stage adaptation of the beloved film. 🌟

Currently in the UK for a revival of Kiss Me, Kate, Sher revealed that the La La Land musical is deep in development. 🎭📝

"We're in the middle of workshops, working with producer Marc Platt, who also produced Wicked," Sher said. "We’re trying to find a theatrical language for this amazing film. After Kiss Me, Kate, I'll head back to New York for more workshops."

For those who might not know, the original film starred Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, winning six Academy Awards including Best Original Score and Best Original Song. The music by Justin Hurwitz and lyrics by Dear Evan Hansen’s Pasek and Paul includes iconic tracks like “City of Stars” and “Another Day of Sun.”
