A superb antique Victorian leather armchair, made in England around the 1890-1900 period.
It is of outstanding quality, beautifully made and is well sprung. The frame is generous in proportions, and this is very comfortable to relax in.
The leather has an absolutely gorgeous colour tone and patina, the frame sits on solid mahogany bun feet.
We have had the leather hand coloured and enhanced by our leather restorer, it is in excellent overall condition for its age.

Antique Colonial Campaign Chest of Drawers. A fantastic antique colonial military campaign chest of drawers. This dates from around the 1840-1860 period.
It is of amazing quality and is a very useful size, with lots of storage space. This sits on nicely turned legs and the chest comes apart in two pieces for ease of transport, as is typical of these military chests.

An absolutely stunning original period 1930’s Art Deco burr walnut cloud back dining table & chairs. This was made by H & L Epstein in England.
The quality is outstanding, this is so well made and beautifully designed.
The chairs have wonderful scooped backs with gorgeous burr walnut on the inside and outside. The twin pedestal table also has exquisite grain patterns and lovely curves to the edge of the table top and the base.
We have had all the wood stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, and the chairs have been newly upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is superb throughout.

An absolutely stunning and extremely well made antique lacquered chinoiserie cabinet. This was made in England in the oriental style around the 1890-1910 period.
It is of incredibly fine quality, with exquisite lacquered decorations throughout. The doors open to reveal an internal bank of drawers which are also beautifully designed, there are even amazing painted scenes on the inside of the door panels.
This has top quality patinated brass mounts all over, it stands on a pierced platform base.
We have had this gently cleaned and revived, there are some minor surface marks and patina to the lacquer which we have left to retain its original character, mostly seen on the top.
A stunning antique Dresden style porcelain occasional table. This was made in Germany by Von Schierholz around the 1950’s.
The quality is outstanding, this is beautifully made, with amazing details throughout. The hand painted floral decorations and gold tones are absolutely gorgeous and are finely executed.
The condition is superb, with no damage to be seen.

A superb antique military campaign style long chest of drawers / sideboard made in England, around the 1930’s.
It is of amazing quality and is a great size, with plenty of storage space inside the six generous drawers.
The yew wood has a gorgeous mellow colour tone and there are lovely brass mounts and handles.
There is also a brass rim around the entire lower edge, with a smart and unusual feature.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.

A superb antique burr walnut Carlton House desk, made in England around the 1890-1910 period.
This is of outstanding quality with many lovely features.
It is a great size, with lots of storage space in the curved upper section and lower drawers. It stands on tapered legs with brass casters, there is an inset leather writing surface which slides out to increase the work space.
There is a pierced brass upper gallery and high quality brass handles.
Inside the upper section on either end, there are secret hidden doors to additional compartments inside, hard to see in the images.
This has a finished back, and looks amazing from all angles.
The burr walnut grain patterns and colour tones are stunning, we have had this re-polished and the condition is excellent for its age.

A fantastic Art Deco walnut, rosewood and leather desk chair / stool. This was likely made in France in the 1920-30’s.
It is of outstanding quality and has an amazing design, the lower front section is made from walnut, the back rest is rosewood.
It has an interesting and stylish ribbed cushioned back rest and is well padded on the seat as well. This would be useful as a desk chair, dressing table stool or as an occasional side table.
We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, and we have had it re-upholstered in cream leather. The condition is excellent throughout.

An absolutely stunning Art Deco burr walnut cocktail drinks cabinet by Maple and Co, made in England in the 1920-30’s.
The quality is outstanding, this is extremely well made, it has a very useful and clever design.
The main feature is the upper central cabinet which opens and unfolds to reveal a mirrored bar area, complete with original cocktail sticks and a lemon juicer.
The lower central cabinet contains a deep open drawer at the bottom for bottles, a slimmer drawer in the upper centre, and a pull out slide shelf with built in recesses for glasses.
Additionally there are two slim cabinet sections on the sides with shelves.
We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb. The burr walnut grain patterns and colour tones are incredibly beautiful on all sides.

Furniture wonderland in our showroom
A superb set of six antique Victorian oak masonic dining chairs, made in England in around the 1880-1900 period.
They are of superb quality and have an extremely interesting design.
The back rests are arched in the typical masonic style, and each chair has a unique carved masonic symbol.
They are all solid oak, sitting on turned legs with stretchered bases. The arm rests are nicely scrolled and the backs have interesting sloped supports running from the top of the arch to the seats.
We have had the chairs re-polished, and the seat cushions have been newly made in a cream cotton fabric.
If someone wanted to recover the cushions in a fabric of their choice, it wouldn’t cost much, because half the work has been done now.
The condition is excellent for their age.

A stunning antique walnut kidney shaped dressing table and stool, made in England in the 1900-1920s.
The quality is outstanding, this is a large and impressive size.
The walnut grain patterns and colour tones are beautiful, with gorgeous crisp carving throughout.
There is lots of storage space, the drawers have high quality brass ring pull handles and fine, hand cut dovetailed joints.
The back is nicely finished so this can be used as a free standing item.
The kidney shaped stool was made to match and is of equally high quality with a newly upholstered drop in seat.
We have just had this re-polished to a very high standard. The mirrors and mirror supports detach for ease of transport.

A stunning quality antique French Empire mahogany mirrored back console table from the 1820-1840’s.
It is of lovely proportions and is beautifully designed. The mahogany top is cross banded and has those typical French moulded edges.
There is a single drawer, and the scroll over legs have a gorgeous, sweeping design with paw feet. The back has the original mirror between the drawer and the base, which is a great feature.
The mahogany has a lovely colour tone and patina, and this is in excellent condition for its age, having just been re-polished.

A magnificent and very rare antique satinwood display cabinet, beautifully made from inlaid satin wood. This was made in England in the 1880-1890s.
The quality is exceptional, one of the absolute best we have ever come across.
There is amazing carving throughout, including the top central motif, four beautiful fluted Corinthian column supports and various other intricate carved areas.
There is wonderful inlay across the top frieze and lower drawers, the drawers have stunning and very high quality brass handles. This even retains the four carved satin wood urns on each upper corner. There are two heavy glass shelves inside, and the lining looks original.
Overall this is in excellent condition for its age, with only some minor wear to be seen.

A very large and impressive antique French gilt bronze table lamp of the highest order, made in France around 1880-1900.
The quality is outstanding, this is beautifully made with incredibly fine details. There are two bronze ladies with a gorgeous patina, standing on a gilt bronze base supporting three gilt bronze floral arms.
We have had it re-wired and it is in good working order.

We have a large collection, including dining furniture, bedroom furniture, and drawing room furniture, as well as lighting and decorative pieces. After dealing in antiques for over twenty-five years, we have built up an extensive and loyal client base, and many long-term relationships with both private and trade customers.
