Nepalese pop up restaurant providing authentic flavours of Nepal. When planning your perfect restaurant experience, look no further than us.
Hi, I am Rajiv and food is my passion - my art is creating a delicious and surprising menu that will overwhelm your every sense. Having been raised in the surroundings of mountains & rivers in Nepal, I grew up using the fresh herbs & spices for cooking that were often obtained through foraging. I started cooking from the very early age due to living in a large extended family,I learned to cook by
Thank you Beanfest 2024 at for having me today. I thoroughly enjoyed demonstrating how to make Aloo ko Achaar (potato and cucumber pickle) while talking about Nepali flavours and what makes it special.
And thank you to everyone who came to demonstration today. I hope you guys enjoyed it as much I did!

What a wonderful way to start the new week. πͺ
We are back in the kitchen at this evening !!!!
Momos or Momo? I have been calling them Momos all my life. But, I only found out yesterday that the correct term is Momo. Momos is a " westernised" version, apparently, and an incorrect one.
These little parcels of delight are available at our current residency , Tues-Sunday. We have chicken, pork, lamb, and vegan options for you to try.
Our new menu is going live from next Tuesday (13th February). Expect a few new dishes and some of the old classics.
British classic with a touch of Nepalese love!Clementine infused poached pear with coconut & lime ice cream, with a hint of thyme.
Trying and testing the new menu for February. This might make it on our menu at our current home at in Camberwell πͺ

It's Tuesday, which means it's the Thaali Tuesday evening at . There is a goat, chicken, or vegan option. Thaali comes with sauteed greens (broccolini), fragrant rice, cucumber & potato achaar and creamy daal.

Perfect to warm your soul in this cold weather!!!!
We tried to book a table at in Exmouth, and there was 3 months' wait during summer, but we managed to get a table this time π
The menu availability depends on what was caught from the sea in the morning. We had monkfish tail, trout, Norwegian prawns, pollack , oysters and etc.
The food was fresh, delicate, and beautiful. You could still taste the sea in each dish. It was worth the wait and a perfect way to end Tihar with family.
Rajiv's Kitchen was born during the time of uncertainty and amidst hopelessness in 2014, when I was going through the Big C. It was a seed that I planted as a supperclub because I needed something to do, something that I could call my own, to make it part of my life that I was so sure to lose then and to make me feel alive at the same time.
The seed that was planted back then has grown to be so much more. And I am thankful and grateful to every single customer that walks through our door at and every other residencies, pop ups, supperclubs we have ever done because without your love and support, we wouldn't still be here.
Everything we do is very personal to me; every dish we create, every plate that goes out of the kitchen; it is a labour of love, passion, and care. Every dish has a story to tell; each layer of flavour is singing the tune of the respected region of Nepal that the dish was inspired from and our menu reflects the culture and heritage of Nepal, which my team and I are very proud to showcase to our fellow Londoners!
So thank you, Camberwell and London, for so much love! This one is for you! You make our hard work and sleepless nights worthwhile!
Much love,
Rajiv & the team x

Let's talk desserts.
Dessert in Nepal is mostly an afterthought rather than being an integral part of a meal. Usually, it's either Indian sweets, a bowl of mixed fruits with cream, or even Ju Ju Dhau ( a Newari delicacy, known as king of yoghurt with texture and consistency, very similar to pannacotta).
We always have to think extra hard and put lots of effort into designing our menus to incorporate the dessert aspect without devoiding from our roots. Our team goes through 2-3 days of extensive tasting process and creating recipes before we agree on which ones we think work best with the rest of the menu.
For our summer menu at , you can find these absolutely delicious desserts on our menu:
1. Mango cheese cake with spicy mango sauce.
2. Lemon curd tart with strawberries.
3. Lime and coconut pannacotta. (Vegan)
All thanks to our pastry team; .bowden , Jenny, and to our head chef, !
Thank you for this wonderful review. It makes all the hardwork worthwhile.
We are back in the kitchen today at from 12:30pm and tomorrow with our Sunday roast menu.
Pop in to say hi and happy weekend!
