It’s International Mens Day UK on Tuesday 19th November. A global recognition of the contribution that men make to our society. One of their core themes is making a positive difference to the wellbeing and lives of men and boys across the world.

Ice Rink Canary Wharf is partnering with leading men’s mental health charity, , encouraging the men of Canary Wharf and surrounding areas to take and hour out their day on Tuesday to Talk & Skate.

We are opening up two designated skate sessions, 12pm and 1pm on Tuesday lunchtime, for workers to come down and support our incentive and take some out on the ice to talk. 50% of all ticket sales for these sessions will be donated to Talk Club, and go towards the amazing work they do around mental health and su***de prevention.

Ice skating on our rink is the perfect, serene environment to instil good mental health and conversations around it. Talk Club’s ethos centres around improving ‘mental fitness’ and we believe that taking some time to exercise and talk on ice is the perfect way to pay homage to International Men’s Day.

Last night, Ice Rink Canary Wharf threw a launch party to kick start the winter season… and all of these lovely faces came down to celebrate, adding some sparkle and shimmer to the ice! ❄️⛸️🥂

Mattr is the first neurodivergent friendly dating and community app and we’re proud to support them, offering the joys of ice skating as a safe, friendly and non-judgmental activity based meet-up for their community.
