Why does this matter?

Well, three years ago, we started brainstorming what the best way to start the day for you and the planet would look like.

Last year, we launched a cereal made entirely without cereals, soy or sugar - we wanted it to be the healthiest, most sustainable and most delicious cereal on the planet.

Now our goal has gotten the official Mission Accomplished tick from Whole Foods! 🙏

Why does one of the world's richest men give a jeff about the humble pulse? Great effing question!

Apparently Blue Monday is a marketing gimmick made up by a travel company. But just in case: this is a pack of chickpeas luxuriating on the sparkling waves of a warm summer sea. Look at those playful ripples, that bright glow, those crunchy crunchy chickpeas.

Doesn’t make you feel a little warmer? A little better? And... a little peckish? Just us?

The end of 2022 is almost upon us and we just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of you who have supported us 🙏

Not unlike the last two years, 2022 has been been wild and wonderful, but also full of challenges the likes of which few saw coming.

With a little bit of luck and a lot of hard work we added over 2,000 new locations where you can find BRAVE - including , and many more (keep your eyes peeled for more announcements in January!). We launched our Super Hoops at the end of the summer and have been frantically trying to keep up with demand!

But we’ve also seen cost-price increases, export challenges and raw material shortages - issues that each on their own make operating as a small business tough. 😬

And here’s what we really want to stress: in such extraordinary times, we would not be here if not for your support. ❤️

It might not always seem obvious when you’re just grabbing a bag of our snacks over lunch, but this is why it’s so important to support businesses owned and operated by real people, not giant conglomerates run by vague ‘boards’ and shareholder interests. Every sale, every piece of feedback - even every like - matters to us. We not only see it, but we feel it. It helps us grow, improve and make even more delicious food packed with clean energy.

And that, and more, is our plan for 2023! 🚀

We’re immensely grateful for everything we learned and were able to do in 2022. Now it’s time for a couple of weeks of rest, recuperation and reflection. Put your ‘out of office’ on, switch off the computers, your phones, and spend time with your family and friends. Read a good book. Enjoy some time in nature, even if it’s dark, rainy and cold.

- 2017 AD 07/06 - BRAVE Roasted Peas are launched. Peas, being humble, say this about themselves: “we’re a bit like roasted nuts, but healthier” 🤷‍♀️

- 2018 AD - ‘Someone’ accidentally spills chocolate on some Roasted Peas 🍫 Historians refer to this moment as “The Snaccident”. The balance of the universe is changed forever 🪐

- 2019 AD - BRAVE launches Roasted Chickpeas. When asked to comment, they say, “We’re giving the pea-ple what they want” ✅

We’ve been thinking a lot about Change recently 🤔
