Great to be finally back at work. Really hoping to be able to run another Supper Club around July. It would be so good to be back. In the meantime I am available for catering private parties should any of you be planning your own event. After all we all need something to look forward to!

A day at the allotment

As you can imagine I am really missing you all and my Dining Room events! Unfortunately there is still no real end in sight as far as restaurants are concerned and it is the not knowing how long this will go on for, which I think makes it so... Try and pick the white, fully opened flowers. When they turn cream they will have more yeast on then which can cause sediment and make the syrup cloudy. Although it is nice to use un-bleached sugar, it will effect the overall colour but it is up to you. You can also make it organic by using organic....

Anyone else have a bit of trouble with their scoring patterns? I have these fantastic visions of drawing intricate patterns and wheatsheaves but can barely manage a cross.

The quest continues to try and cook a decent pizza in a home oven.

With all this baking, everyday is a (discard) Sourdough Pancake day. Lucky kids.
