These courses are designed to give students a taster of life at English National Ballet School and students will participate in daily ballet classes, repertoire and/or variations classes, contemporary, and choreography.

Our Adult Ballet Classes are back! We're so looking forward to welcoming dancers into our studios in Chelsea for our improver-beginner level classes. Accompanied by live piano, these classes are led by Alessandra Masoero and are suitable for adults of all ages with some ballet experience.

Another four star review for our Summer Performances! It was a joy to see our students shine on stage last week as they performed works by Frederick Ashton, Andrew McNicol, and Pina Bausch. A huge thank you to everyone who came to see them at the Linbury Theatre and Brixton House.

At the end of this week, we bid farewell to our Artistic Director Viviana Durante, who has successfully led the School for the last five years.

Viviana’s vision was always to create opportunities for talented students, regardless of their financial circumstances, and so today we have the privilege of honouring her remarkable contribution to ENBS in a truly fitting manner. We are delighted to announce the establishment of the Viviana Durante Scholarship. This prestigious award will provide a full-fee scholarship to an exceptionally talented young dancer for their entire time at ENBS.

Our deepest gratitude goes to Charles Holloway OBE, whose support and generosity made this wonderful gift possible.

All of us at ENBS extend our heartfelt thanks to Viviana and wish her the very best for her future.

A huge congratulations to our students who performed two sold out shows at the Royal Opera House's Linbury Theatre yesterday.

The programme featured the UK premiere of Pina Bausch’s Tannhäuser-Bacchanal, Frederick Ashton’s Les Patineurs and Andrew McNicol’s Of Space & Time, showcasing the artistry, talent and versatility of our students.

Thank you to all of our students and staff for their hard work in getting these outstanding shows on stage, and to our wonderful supporters Charles Holloway, Ida Levine, The Idlewilde Trust, The D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust and Capezio.

We’ll be performing a special end of year showcase at Brixton House this weekend where we’ll celebrate our graduating Third Year students. For tickets and info see the What's On page on our website.

Before then - we’ve got a treat for you! Two free taster sessions on the 15th & 22nd of June.

Perfect for dancers aged 3-11, these sessions are all about fun, inspiration and creativity!

The taster sessions will run as follows:

Ages 3-4: 1:30-2:00 (30 minutes)
Ages 5-7: 2:15-3:00 (45 minutes)

We're delighted to announce that our ENBS Juniors classes are returning this autumn. Ahead of this we're holding free taster classes on Saturday 15 June and 22 June at our home in Chelsea. Open to anyone aged 3-11 without audition, our Juniors classes offer a fun and imaginative space to introduce the joy of ballet to young people.

“I feel incredibly shocked and grateful for being the winner”, said Breanna. “It’s such an honor to win this prize, that motivates me to keep growing. I’ve learned so much during this process.”

Breanna performed the Satanella pas de deux and a new contemporary work by Ching-Ying Chien, with her fellow nominee Thiago Pereira.

Next week our students perform their own choreographies as part of our Young Choreographers programme at The Wallace Collection.

Over several months, our students from have been exploring the collection and developing choreography informed by what they have encountered, working with London College of Fashion on the costume and make-up designs and the Royal College of Music on the music for their pieces.

The evening will showcase their breathtaking new work, performed amongst the masterpieces that have inspired them, in the beautiful, intimate setting of the Wallace Collection.

Young Choreographers is generously supported by London Ballet Circle.
