Easter sewing ✂️💜 If you’re looking for an adorable, engaging activity to do in the Easter holidays, grab one of the last mini mice sewing kits. You’ll need PVA/white glue and scissors to make this project but everything else is included, even video instructions so kids can learn with me as they sew.

If you don’t have a Loome tool in your craft cupboard I have 5 reason why you definitely should have at least one (if you have siblings, often have friends around to craft together or you want to craft along with your kids, you’ll need one for each of you!)

1. Pom poms 👉 Make gorgeously dense pom poms for garlands, headbands, keyring and more! These are so much easier for kids to use than the plastic kind.

2. Tassels 👉 Make earrings, necklaces, keyrings and more with tassels! This is a good way to use up yarn scraps. Don’t forget a tassel comb to neaten them up before trimming.

3. Weavings 👉 One of my favourite projects to make on a Big A. Cute little weavings for mending, to hang on the wall or make badges with.

4. Cords 👉 Necklaces, bracelets, bag handles, lanyards, hairbands… so lush with t-shirt yarn!

5. Friendship Bracelets 👉 Perfect summer activity or while in the car / train / plane. You don’t need much yarn to make these!

I can't believe this day is here...

After 10 years, thousands of pom poms made, nearly 10,000 orders posted and hundreds of children taught to sew, it's time for the doors of The Sewcial Circle to close.

I've been juggling 2 businesses for over a year now and it's too much, so I've decided to shut down The Sewcial Circle, which means there are some pretty epic deals on craft supplies, kits and Loome tools on the website now.

These half-moon vases are a gorgeous wood, so it’s easy to paint with acrylics.

I traced half-circles with the glass vase insert and painted them on.

Take the reins! As some of you know, I started a new consulting business in email marketing for other small e-commerce brands earlier this year. It has totally taken off and I love working with other small businesses.

This is why things have been quieter on here, I don’t have the capacity to keep up with product development, packing orders (I’m usually doing this at wild early hours or late into the evening) and travelling back to London from Dorset to run kids' parties.
