Twice a year, we offer our learners the opportunity to work backstage with the Quay Players at the theatre. This time, the show was SpongeBob The Musical, featuring looks crafted by our Level 3 Hair and Media Makeup students. The show runs for four days, providing an excellent opportunity for our learners to gain real-world industry experience and apply the skills they've developed in the classroom.

Did you know that if you are aged 19 or older and thinking about a college course in Beauty Therapy, Media Make-up, Spa and Salon Management or Advanced Aesthetics... you may qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan.

These loans help you to pay the fees charged by colleges and training organisations.

Most learners aged 19 or older, studying at Level 3 to 6, will qualify for these loans from the UK Government.

Loan eligibility does not depend on your income and there are no credit checks.

It’s easy to apply, your household income isn’t taken into account and there’s no credit check. You won’t have to pay anything back until your income is over £25,000 a year.

19+ Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy This course offers a direct entrance on to LCBT's ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy programme with no experience or learning at Level 2 required. You will be taught a range of a range of units that will develop the skills and knowledge required to be a fully qualified beauty therapist.

Last week, our Level 3 beauty students headed to The Corinthia Spa in Embankment for an exclusive tour of their gorgeous spa. The managers then hosted a talk and Q&A about treatments, client experience and gave careers advice to our students who aspire for a career in the wellness and treatment industry.

A few weeks ago our students were joined by the Clarins team for a masterclass!

Covering EVERYTHING about the Clarins history - the students learnt about the brand and what it is like to work for a hugely succesful and historic beauty brand. They were also told about the different job roles available within Clarins and how they can apply.

CLARINS VISITED THE LCBT! Clarins visited the London College of Beauty Therapy to give our students an insight into the beauty industry.

This week we hosted our brilliant Careers Fair - a fantastic opportunity for our learners to find out about job opportunities and gain specialised advice on their next steps. We were joined by brands such as Benefit, Townhouse, FaceGym, SpaceNK and many more.

If your teen is 16-18 years old and is looking to begin their career in beauty after they leave school - our courses are completely fully funded*
