A closer look at the Limited Edition Bob Marley x Admiral x Modfather Clothing Gold Natural Mystic Exodus football shirt.

When it came to photographing the football shirt, People Sounds Records in the heart of Notting Hill was an obvious choice.
A short walk from the former Island Records HQ & the studio on Basing Hill in which Bob recorded both Catch a Fire & got to work on Exodus.

Bob was also an acquaintance of People Sounds’ original owner, the late great ‘Daddy Vigo’, they knew one another from their time in Jamaica and would meet up in London to smoke spliff & listen to music.

* An amazing response to the official launch last night, with the stock we’d designated to the website selling out in certain sizes much quicker than expected.
We’ve subsequently added some additional shop stock to the website, so all sizes are available over again.

Customers, visitors & friends at our Brighton store over the August Bank Holiday weekend & some lovely scooters on Madeira Drive.
Modfather Brighton was opened in October 2020, so we’re almost four years old now.
We took a big risk & opened at a pretty precarious time for bricks and mortar stores, amongst a backdrop of national lockdowns, opening for eight weeks & then being forced to shut for three months.
Thankfully our family run business was embraced by the local community & those from much further afield.
This weekend saw visitors from the USA, Canada, Mexico, Italy, Brazil, China, Japan, all over the UK (and lots of other places I’ve probably forgotten to mention).
A beautiful celebration of likeminded people.
Here’s to the future, there’s big plans for both our stores & much to be excited about.
A huge thank you to our teams at both the Camden & Brighton store, our lovely customers & all those who continue to support the independents.
We must also thank the organisers for putting together such a fantastic event.

The Miles Kane x Mr Bridger Collezione
Using the gold trim that featured in the Italian football shirt for Euro 96, we’ve added contrasting colours to two our 60’s inspired knits.

Introducing the Francesco, in that lovely shade of blue, we’ve also ran it in ecru, a nod to the away shirt too!
