Happy ! This week we are celebrating Coaching Academy graduate Lora Krasteva.
We asked Lora to share her thoughts on her experience training with us and here’s what she had to say:
"I am so pleased to receive my second qualification from the Coaching Academy. It has been my goal to develop my coaching practice alongside my creative one and I am so proud to now both be an NLP practitioner and an accredited coach.
I discovered coaching at a tough time in my life and it not only saved me but gave me purpose and invaluable skills that can make a tangible change in people's lives. I learned so much throughout my journey and I am grateful to my fellow coaches and to all my friends I roped in to practice with me!
For anyone just starting their course, enjoy the ride! I will also be back in the classroom to complete my Small Business Coaching Diploma next because one thing they don't tell you is that coaching and learning are...deliciously addictive! :)’’

Coaching and counselling are both valuable forms of support, but they have distinct focuses and approaches.
🌟 Coaching: Coaching is like having a personal trainer for your life goals! It's a collaborative partnership where a coach helps you tap into your potential, clarify your aspirations, and develop strategies to achieve them. Coaches are highly skilled at asking powerful questions, offering guidance, and holding you accountable. They empower you to unlock your strengths, build skills, and create a roadmap to success. Coaching is future-oriented and action-driven, helping you bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be.
🌟 Counselling: Counselling provides a safe space to explore and heal emotional and psychological challenges. Counsellors or Therapists offer support and guidance to navigate mental health challenges, trauma, or relationship struggles. They help you understand underlying patterns, process emotions, and develop coping strategies. Counselling is focused on healing, self-discovery, and enhancing mental well-being. It dives into the past to facilitate personal growth and emotional resilience.
Each approach serves unique purposes and can greatly benefit different aspects of our lives.

Happy ! This week we are celebrating Coaching Academy graduate Rebecca Bradley.
We asked Rebecca to share her thoughts on her experience training with us and here’s what she had to say:
"It feels like a lifetime ago when I reflect back to when I joined The Coaching Academy (TCA) just two years ago and started the PDD coaching diploma qualification.
The qualification and learning modules gave me the opportunity develop my coaching style to become more client centred and confidence to set up my own coaching business. I have learnt to hold the space, to listen, to challenge and to build rapport in a way that gives the best chance for trust to be established. I have also learnt to believe in myself and just go for it!
Over the last few months particularly, I have valued the support network and contacts that I have made throughout my own journey and through The Coaching Academy. I hadn't realised how important it was to have a group of individuals to lift each other up, to celebrate successes and to provide feedback and positive comradeship when elements of doubt creep into scope. These individuals have been invaluable to me and I am sure that these relationships will continue long after the completion of my qualification. This group of individuals, I now call friends, being an unexpected and immeasurable bonus to all of the learning materials and resources available through TCA."

Earlier this week we asked our Instagram followers how they are planning on working on their studies through the summer. 100% said they are planning on studying in some capacity during this time. It’s been a split between reading about self-development, attending live training and catching up on paperwork.
We’ve put together some of our top tips to help you navigate studying during the summer months.
Do what is right for you, take a break over the summer if you need
The best way to navigate this time is the way that works for you and your circumstances, if you need to put your studies away for a while do so.
Set boundaries between working, studying and taking breaks
If you are juggling a lot it’s important to set boundaries to support you and your wellbeing.
Schedule in the time you are going to study
Create a plan for what you want to achieve during your study time
Have a plan, when you get to your study time you’ll know exactly what you’re going to be working on and use this time to work towards your longer term goals
Keep it simple; reading, listening to podcasts all support your learning.
Connect with your peers, there are other students in the same position as you
You’re not alone in this journey, you have resources available to support you. Connect with your peers and find others with a similar experience for accountability and support.
What would you add to our list?
In this week's blog we're talking about managing your studies alongside daily responsibilities with Kellie Hick, a student of The Coaching Academy.

Happy ! This week we are celebrating Coaching Academy graduate Kate Watt.
We asked Kate to share her thoughts on her experience training with us and here’s what she had to say:
‘’The last 15mths have been a true journey of self-discovery. I went into the course with a mindset of learning to become a better coach, not expecting for the process to have had such significantly transformational effects on my personal life. Working through and completing the TCA Coaching Diploma has not only helped me show up as a better, more rounded coach for my clients, it's reignited a passion for learning and self-development. I have achieved more personally and professionally in the last 15mths than I have in the last 15yrs! Everyone should complete this course!’’
