BWT Alpine F1 Team announces Flavio Briatore as Executive Advisor

BWT Alpine F1 Team can confirm that Flavio Briatore has been appointed by Renault Group CEO Luca de Meo as his Executive Advisor for the Formula One Division.

Briatore will predominantly focus on top level areas of the team including: scouting top talents and providing insights on the driver market, challenging the existing project by assessing the current structure and advising on some strategic matters within the sport.

With its cutting-edge design, first-class technical features, ultra-complete connectivity and numerous possibilities for personalising driving, the Alpine A290 is a true Alpine, a new generation designed to embrace the electric era. It has been designed to appeal to a new range of male and female customers, some of whom will be performance-oriented, while others will be more focused on style. The A290 is assembled at the Manufacture in Douai, within ElectriCity. The electric motor is also built in France at the Megafactory in Cléon. The battery will be produced in France beginning in the summer of 2025.

Exclusively, today we are revealing to you the ultimate version of the Alpine A110 named: Alpine A110 R Ultime which will be released at the end of Q4 2025, beginning of Q1 2026.

This reveal promises to excite Alpine fans, offering an exclusive look into the technical details and performance of this special edition. With nearly 330 hp and a weight of less than 1000 kg, today we are revealing a lot of information to you on the ultimate version which will mark the last iteration of the A110 in combustion engine version.

ALPINE A110 R ULTIMATE: RADICALITY IN A (NEW) NAME

The Alpine A110 R Ultime will stand out for its top-flight performance, powered by a 330 hp SP98 engine, which can reach 350 hp with SP102 octane fuel. In addition, it will be able to reach a maximum speed of 300 km/h, thanks to its forged engine and its new turbo. With a projected acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, this French sports car will offer unrivaled power on the road.

Compared to the standard version, the A110 R Ultime will feature significant improvements. Torque increase from 340 Nm to 450 Nm, which represents an increase of 32%. To accommodate this gain in torque, a new EDC 6 gearbox, borrowed from the Megane 4 RS and specially reworked for this edition, will come into play. In addition, a new engine cradle will be installed to accommodate these modifications.

With the abandonment of EDC 7, which previously limited the increase in torque, the engine character should be transformed, thus offering more punch and better acceleration at low revs.

In terms of suspension and road holding, we note the addition of forged Fondmetal rims, a reduced weight of less than 1000 kg and suspension wishbones exclusive to this model. These combined elements guarantee exceptional agility and maneuverability, making the Alpine A110 R Ultime a true benchmark in terms of handling and dynamism.

In addition, new Öhlins suspension will equip this ultimate edition, offering even more precise control and an optimal driving experience on the circuit. Also, Alpine will drop the Brembo brakes and switch to AP Racing, thus ensuring braking performance that meets the expectations of the most demanding drivers.

ALPINE A110 R ULTIME: LIMITED AND VERY EXCLUSIVE PRODUCTION

With only 110 examples planned for production, including 67 reserved for France, the Alpine A110 R Ultime will offer unparalleled exclusivity. Priced from €250,000 (excluding taxes), this limited edition will also offer advanced Atelier customization options in the Ferrari Tailor Made spirit, which can push the price up to €300,000.

Among the notable differences compared to the standard version, you will find an Akrapovič titanium exhaust line, a carbon body kit with additional fins for better aerodynamics, as well as inspiration from the Pikes Peak version on certain elements.
