We've been mulling over mulling wine for a few weeks now, and we've decided it's definitely time. Pop down to the POW for a winter warmer!

Whilst you're enjoying a delicious POW roast today, spare a thought for the hardworking chefs who work tirelessly to cook for you. We do ask that you don't feed them though, they're on a special diet of caffeine and excess chips.

We want everyone to be comfortable at the POW, but even we think Ben may have gone overboard with the new cushions... Pop down to the POW and judge for yourself!

We're not sure if Ryan is taking a break from the bar, or the bar is taking a break from Ryan. Either way we've never seen anybody so happy to be on washing up duty.

There are few things better when the weather turns than a comfy chair and an open fire. We've got both at the POW, plus there's beer.

It's dull and dreary outside, but a cosy pub is the perfect place to warm up and relax. We've lit the fire for the first time, officially declaring summer over and the start of jumper weather.

Whatever the weather we like to make Sundays special at the POW - pop down for a roast, or just a lazy Sunday afternoon pint!

It's national cask week and we've decided to mix things up at the POW - pop down and try something different!

We've fallen into autumn with customary verve and gusto at the POW - as the weather turns crisper, pop down and enjoy the warmth of the POW. Logs for the fire at the ready for the first frost!

Did you know we had an upstairs dining room at the POW? We don't blame you if not, as we've only just done it up - pop down to the POW and have a nose! Also available for private hire up to 20 people, with a private bar for all those special events (Christmas is coming up isn't it?)!

There's something about the POW that draws you back time and time again - our beloved Seyda may have gone to run but we just can't get rid of her! Pop down the the POW, and be sure to visit the Arab Boy and say hi!

No such thing as boredom at the POW, not with our expansive boardgame collection - pop down for a game of Connect Four, or Cards Against Humanity, or the lesser-known CSI The Board Game...
