We are nearly there with the opening of Tasha's Tearoom....not long to wait now!

And that's a wrap! After an amazing 10 years as owner of Tasha's Tearoom I have tonight hung up my apron for the last time.
The Tearoom will now be closed for a few days whilst the new owner finalises her plans and she will then let you know her opening date.

As we approach the handover date we would like to introduce the new owners of Tasha's Tearoom. Sally, along with occasional help from husband Alan & son George, will shortly be putting on her pinny and serving all your Tearoom favourites.

We love having our regular groups that visit us! Today it's the local u3a group but we have NCT groups, book clubs, church groups and many more. Just give us a call on 0208 770 3977 to get booked in for October onwards.

We have had some lovely baby showers in the last few weeks and we have lots more booked in for September. If you are looking to hold an event in the autumn then please get in touch and we can help you plan the perfect party!

Tomorrow, Sat 12th August, we have a private party from 1pm so come early for brunch or some yummy cake & coffee!

Brilliant news, Tasha's Tearoom will now be continuing in business with a lovely new owner. Tasha will also still be working. We are beyond excited and will share more details in due course.

Our Mum & Nan Barbara is 90 this weekend! She is the original Queen of cake and until a few years ago regularly made Bakewell tarts and walnut cakes for the Tearoom. We have already had some celebrations but more are planned for this Saturday so ...

Dear Friends
I just wanted to share some news. Tasha's Tearoom will be closing at the end of September. I know this will be a bit sad for our lovely Village but for us it is happy news. We have enjoyed a fantastic 10 years and are happy to be going out at the top with the Tearoom doing well. I am 60 next year and with a 90 yr old mum with dementia and a gorgeous 1 year old granddaughter, the stretch has just become too much.

I am forever grateful for the support we have received from so many of you and look forward to continuing to see you all in the Village. I am proud of all the community events we were involved with and the large amount we have raised for charity, particularly The Royal Marsden. But most of all I am hugely proud of Tasha. My aim when opening the Tearoom was only ever to allow her to grow and flourish in a caring, nurturing environment. She has done all of that and more.

I did try to sell the Tearoom but I think in the current financial climate people are cautious about new ventures.
If you do know anyone who has always wanted to own a Tearoom then do let me know!

Don't forget that we offer our lovely Afternoon Teas for delivery and collection. Rachel collected an Afternoon Tea for 2 yesterday to take to her lovely Mum & Dad as her Dad was recovering from an operation. What a lovely treat! Call us on 0208 770 3977 if you would like to order.

Please note that we will be closed for our summer holiday from Wednesday 7th June and reopen at 10am on Tuesday 20th June.

The Tearoom will be closed until 1pm so that our staff can watch this historic event and then we will be open for the afternoon for late lunch, cream teas and all your favourite cakes!

We hosted a beautiful christening party on Saturday for 40 people. We usually serve your Afternoon Tea on stands to the table but if you are looking to host a larger gathering we can set up a buffet like this. Drop us an email on [email protected] to discuss. Suzanne xx

What a gorgeous morning! Pop down to Cheam Village and keep the children busy with our Easter hunts. They can collect 1 of these freshly iced cupcakes if they return the completed form to us at Tasha's Tearoom. xx

We're closed tomorrow, Good Friday, but can't wait to see you all on Saturday. We have spaces available for Afternoon Tea if you fancy an Easter treat.

We also have very exciting news if you are looking to entertain the children. In conjunction with James Bailey Sales & Lettings we are running an Easter Treasure Hunt! Running from 10am to 2pm we have both hidden clues in shop windows all round the village. Forms can be collected from James & the team at 7 Station Way and if you return a completed form we will give you an Easter cupcake and James will give you an Easter egg! No cost at all although donations in the charity boxes are very welcome. xx
