Our dearest guests,

Tonight after service we will be sweeping the kitchen, shuttering the doors and bidding farewell to guests for the final time.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closure of our beloved Ceviche Soho. After 13 incredible years of pioneering Peruvian cuisine in this city, the time has come for us to say goodbye to what has become our little corner of home.

We want to express the deepest thanks to our team, whose passion and hard work have never waivered, even throughout the hardest of times. Your commitment and passion for your work made this a place to work like no other. Thank you for making Ceviche all that it was. What a journey it has been.

To our customers, we are profoundly grateful for the support you’ve shown us over the years. From lively late nights spent nursing a pisco sour on the bar, to celebrations over ceviche handcrafted by our chefs – every memory created within these walls will forever hold a special place in our hearts and while our physical doors may be closing, the spirit of Ceviche will live as you continue to seek out the incredible food that brought us together.

Con Cariño,
Ceviche Team

Aquí se cocina con cariño = here we cook with love and care ❤️ A motto that we keep close at Ceviche, this care goes into everything we do, from each dish we preapre, to looking after everyone who comes through our doors.

Come rain or shine, it's the dish we can count on to flood our tastebuds with memories of summer. Classic leche de tigre, gently curing cubes of fresh seabass and the familiar crunch of cancha.

Peruvian ceviche at it's best.

Silky, smooth and delightfully sour. It's the drink of choice for many Peruvians, championing the world-famous Pisco.

Join us for a tipple at the bar while you watch our chefs whip up ceviches to rival those on the Lima coast.

Soho isn’t known for it’s early morning risers, so we’re putting on a meal for those who don't usually make it to brunch. Say hello to bottomless… lunch! (Inspired, we know.)

We’ve done away with the eggs and instead picked a selection of our favourite dishes as part of a new 2-course lunch menu, topped up with bottomless wine, beer, and Pisco sours.

Starting this Saturday, take your choice of small plate, main and 90mins of bottomless drinks for £40pp.
⏰ Weekends 12-3:30pm

Walk-ins welcome!

There’s little chance of a white Christmas in Peru, but we have quite the celebrations all the same. After attending Mass on Christmas eve - Noche Buena - families come together to enjoy a feast with lashings of roast turkey, apple sauce and tamales, and at midnight we toast to Christmas day while wishing our neighbours a Merry Christmas under a sky filled with fireworks 🎇

Whether you’re celebrating an intimate gathering of friends, an office party to remember or just want to enjoy the best party this side of the equator, enjoy a different kind of Christmas meal this year with our exquisite Peruvian sharing feasts!

Seabass may be the most well-known of all the ceviches, but tuna is always a crowd favourite and our tuna ceviche brings together the flavours of Peru with a little Japanese influence.

Tomorrow we pay our deepest respects to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as she is laid to rest after an incredible reign of 70 years, and we join those in remembrance and celebration of her life and service.

Please note Ceviche will be closed tomorrow until 5pm.

Enjoyed for breakfast, lunch or even dinner, tamales are a staple dish in Latin American cuisine. In Peru they're typically served with a sauce, and ours comes hidden under a pile of choclo cream and juicy prawns 🌽🦐

For many, tiradito is the highlight of Nikkei cuisine, a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cooking that intwines these countries and their cooking methods ⚔️

Our Salmon tiradito has taken a few different forms at Ceviche, but this one is made special with thinly sliced salmon, salsa criolla, crispy rice noodles and an orange and sesame tiger’s milk, bringing a little umami to this crowd favourite.

Timeline photos 06/08/2022

One of Peru's claims to fame is of course our Pisco 🥂 This white-grape brandy has a unique and powerful flavour, described as somewhat close to tequila.

Did you know we infuse our own pisco in-house? These jars of macerados sit and take on the fruity flavours of cherry 🍒 pineapple🍍 lemon 🍋 and mandarin 🍊 From there we use them in our cocktails to create some fruity twists on the classics, or simply enjoy it on it's own!

Simple is sometimes best and that much is especially true with our savoury corn cake. Use it to mop up the creamy Huancaina sauce and enjoy every bite of this classic Peruvian dish.

Timeline photos 12/07/2022

What makes Peruvian corn so special? 🌽

Well for starters, it's less sweet than a certain green Giants variety and Peruvian corn kernels (also known as Choclo) are bigger, earthier and have a more starchy texture. We use this delicious ingredient in quite a few of our dishes, including the corn & prawn tamal where choclo takes centre stage in a creamy succotash.

What happens when Peruvian ingredients meet Japanese knife skills? Tiradito⚔️

Tiradito is the star dish of Nikkei cuisine, which people sometimes refer to as Peruvian-Japanese fusion — but really, it's a distinct cuisine in itself, that draws from and perfectly merges cooking from both cultures.

Take this beetroot-cured salmon tiradito: raw fish sliced thinly (sashimi; Japanese) served in amarillo tiger's milk (Peruvian through and through) with tobico caviar (our own special touch😉).

📍 We're serving up tiraditos today from 12-11:30pm, come grab a plate!

🍢Ceviche might be Peru's most famous dish, but among locals, anticuchos are just as iconic.

Anticucho is basically a dish of skewered and grilled meat. Most commonly, it's made with beef heart (which we have on our menu!), but we also make this one with grilled octopus and chorizo🐙

In Peru, you'll find anticuchos everywhere: street food stalls, family homes, and high-end restaurants. They've been a part of Peru since Inca times, but became the dish we know today through African influence during waves of Spanish colonisation.

📍Come down and give it a try, we're open from 12-11:30pm today!

👀POV: you're on your way home from a night out in Lima, and you've stopped off for a late-night snack...

Lima is famous for its street food but also its vibrant late-night restaurant scene. And we reckon our crispy chicken thighs would fit right in!

Presenting our crispy fried soy marinated chicken thighs, served with green mango and pepper criolla😌

🍸Peruvians like to say that good pisco will never give you a hangover. We aren't so sure about that, but can promise you good pisco if you'd like to test the theory!

From margaritas to espresso martinis, there's good (great!) pisco in every single one of our cocktails. What makes great pisco? High-quality, sweet grapes; single distilled to proof in a copper pot still; add nothing afterwards (not even water!).

📍The pisco is always flowing at our Soho casa! We're open today from 12-11:30pm💃🏼
