It was fun to be involved in this brand-new animation for Sky Kids!

Ready Eddie Go follows 6-year-old Eddie who is autistic, as he navigates everyday real-life experiences for the first time.

I voice a number of characters that Eddie and his freiends bump into along their adventures. It is incredibly humbling to see animations starting to acknowledge and include neurodiverse children.

The series is based on the books by Nikki Saunders

This year I was given the privilege of helping with the and the winners have now been announced.

A fantastic initiative that is all about creating opportunities for underrepresented ethnicities in the children's animation & illustration field!

As you can see, the talent on display is remarkable!

Congratulations to all those that entered, the standard was incredibly high.

The lucky winners get provided with paid internships at some of the biggest illustration and animation companies in the industry.

It may sound silly, but I'm becoming way more comfortable just being me in front of the camera.

I've been lucky enough to have a career in television for over a decade now.

Bringing characters to life in various franchises I grew up experiencing is a dream come true.

I'm fortunate enough to have brought all sorts of people, animals and mystical creatures to life on screen.

But when acting, performing stand-up comedy, presenting or live streaming, I'm always giving a heightened version of myself. It's not a negative and I adore performing, but sometimes I forget that just being me is more than enough.

I'm enjoying the person I'm growing into. Learning new things about myself and unlearning unhealthy behaviors and habits.

You know? I want to reflect that!

Behind the scenes I've been working on a few projects that hopefully will allow me to be... Me!
