In our restaurants you'll always notice Buddha is placed on a stand as high as possible, to ensure our daily rituals can be performed.
Offerings of fresh fruit, water and a small bowl of food are placed near his image every day before noon. The three rituals that ensue are as follows:
1. The lighting of the candles - this represents the light of the Buddha's teachings and driving away the darkness of ignorance.
2. The lighting of the incense - three incense sticks at the host station represent each of the three Buddah gems: Buddha himself, Dharma (Buddha's teaching) and Sungha (the Buddhi priest-monk).
3. Filling a bowl with floating flowers - orange or yellow gerberas symbolise impermanence, a reminder to live in the now.

Today the Naga Fireball Festival takes place in Thailand, a festival where locals gather to witness the phenomenon of fireballs shooting skywards from the Mekong River.
The locals celebrate by bursting colourful fireworks, rockets, fireboats, and balloons until the glowing fireballs start shooting from the water.
What better way to celebrate than by enjoying one of our Naga Fireball cockails, a fiery blend of ginger, gin, raspberry and soda, with a hint of red chilli.
