In all seriousness, it’s been a roller coaster ride of glorious successes and some quite catastrophic failures in the journey of how to turn a business into something that is successful, resilient to changes in technology and the economy, wins the odd award and that people enjoy working at (or so they tell me!).

2017 was a particularly difficult year. The offices that we had rented for nearly 10 years were being converted into flats and almost half the workforce decided to either change careers or move to America. On top of that - Brexit. A ray of light appeared towards the end of the year as we were struggling to find any kind of reasonably priced office space in our area, with our old landlords retiring and offering the purchase of their offices. This is the building, by the way, that backs on to our very first office that I rented half the top floor of back in 2005.

Fast forward past some interesting discussions with the Bank, and on the 23rd June I opened the front door of our very own offices with my new set of keys. 3 months of intense refurbishment followed as we stripped the building to its bare bones (discovering a fireplace along the way) and sealed, rewired, replastered and repainted, then installed a new shop front with double glazing and segmented the space to create offices with a reception and technical service area. A busy weekend moving the old office, throwing away 10 years of accumulated things we didn’t need, meant that we moved in on the 1st October 2018 - a momentous moment in the life and growth of No Problem Technologies.

Christmas brought a nice present in the form of winning an award for being one of the top 50 Managed IT Services Companies in Britain - it was an intense study of our business practices with over 200 questions spread over 14 areas of business. Winning the award was a real boost in terms of justifying all the hard work that everyone who works here puts in every single day to give our clients the best service - it was a great way to end the year !

As of today, just over 7 months after getting the keys, we have settled in, our staff are at full compliment and we are gearing up for a year focussed on growth, expanding our managed services offerings and bringing the ‘No Problem!’ positive attitude to as many businesses as possible.
