Our team took home the trophy at the BUCS league team championship today. Held at Ponds Forge, the small group proved a force to be reckoned with and produced lots of 💪🏼🏊🏼

Tomorrow sees the start of the British Swimming Championships 2016. The event also doubles as the Great Britain Olympic Trials. Which members of our team will qualify for the Rio games?

On Saturday the 20th February, a large number of our swimmers helped out at the Distance Swim. Held at our famous 'pool of dreams', many of our current team members were delighted to work alongside some enthusiastic young swimmers. A selection of pictures from the event can be seen below!

We did it again! Loughborough retain the Men's, Women's and Overall team BUCS titles! A weekend of ! Well done to all involved 🏊🏼

The BUCS Long Course Championships begin today! Our team are currently on the FAST swimming bus, which is heading to Sheffield ahead of the first session of racing! Tonight sees the team challenging for points in the distance events. The men's 1500m and women's 800m begin at 6pm. Liam Tancock is through to the final of the 100m Individual Medley at the European Short Course Championships.

Currently ranked in 4th place, Liam will be challenging for a medal tomorrow evening!

Liam Tancock will be racing in the semifinal of the 100m Individual Medley later at the European Short Course Championships in Netanya, Israel. Liam swam a great time of 52.58 in the heats, ranking him in 2nd place leading into tonight's semifinal.

Breaking news from Netanya!

Roberto Pavoni swam to a silver medal in the final of the 400m Individual Medley at the European Short Course Championships.

Roberto raced to a lifetime best performance of 4:02.69, a mere 3 tenths behind the race winner.

Wow! Well done Roberto!

World Record Holder and former World Champion, Liam Tancock, was honoured to be the Great Britain Flag Bearer for the opening ceremony of the European Short Course Championships which are being held in Netanya, Israel.

Liam, an outstanding ambassador for the Nation, got his racing underway today in the heats of the 100m backstroke.

This weekend I had the pleasure of Joining my friends in the University of Southampton Swimming Club at the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) short course Nationals, and managed to get this rather impressive shot of a swimmer from Loughborough Swimming as she pushed off the blocks during the finals on Saturday. Congratulations to all of the team, what an incredible weekend of racing! Both the men and the women retained their respective BUCS titles, Loughborough took the overall team title and Toby Robinson took the top male performance! The result is a reflection of the hard work put in by the swimmers, support staff and coaching staff, well done all!
