In 2005, what started with an idea to help end world hunger by selling burritos at a restaurant in Canberra has turned into 300 restaurants globally in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, the US and the UK. That one burrito has now helped donate over 80 million meals to those in need.
To celebrate the opening of our 300th location, we will be giving away 300 free burritos across all 300 locations globally. Mark it in your calendar and head into your local Zambrero and grab your free burrito on Wednesday 25th September.

We did it! Plate 4 Plate Day 2023! 💚
On Friday, 13 October, over 470,000 meals were packed in 4 hours across 6 locations in Australia and Ireland. We also doubled our donations in over 260 Zambrero restaurants on P4P Day!
A huge thank you to our volunteers and incredible partners for contributing their time, supplying ingredients and keeping us fuelled throughout the day!
An exciting day working towards ending world hunger, and we are already planning to go even bigger next year!
